BendPak 10AP-SRT: Who It's For

Low-Ceiling Garage Owners

If your garage has 8-9 foot ceilings and full-rise lifts won't fit, the 10AP-SRT works. The 93.5 in post height clears standard residential ceilings while giving you 46 in of lift for wheel and brake work.

Tire and Wheel Service Shops

Quick-service operations focused on tires, wheels, and brakes don't need full standing height under the vehicle. The short-rise design cycles faster and takes less space than full-rise alternatives.

Detailing and Coating Shops

Undercarriage cleaning, ceramic coating, and rust protection work fits well with short-rise lifting. Enough height to work under the vehicle without needing full-rise clearance.

10AP-SRT Features

Short-Rise, Low-Post Design

The 10AP-SRT stands 93.5 in tall with 46.25 in maximum lift. That's roughly half the ceiling requirement of full-rise two-post lifts. The floorplate connects columns at ground level, providing stability without overhead beams.

Triple-Telescoping Bi-Metric Arms

Front arms reach 22.25 to 47.5 in, rear arms reach 29.5 to 57 in. Triple-telescoping design extends farther and retracts shorter than standard two-stage arms. Works symmetric or asymmetric without hardware changes.

ASARS Automatic Arm Restraint

2,000+ lb clamping force through a 360-degree forged steel grip. Arms lock automatically when positioned. Quick-release lever disengages for repositioning.

ALI Gold Certification

Third-party certified to ANSI/ALI ALCTV-2017 standards. 8 mechanical safety lock positions with 3 in spacing. ALI Gold certification provides documented compliance for insurance and regulatory purposes.

Quiet Operation

The 5 HP motor runs at less than 43 dB, quieter than normal conversation. Reaches full height in 45 seconds. Good for residential settings where noise matters.

10AP-SRT Installation Requirements

Concrete Foundation

Minimum 4.25 in thick concrete with 3,000 PSI compressive strength. Steel-reinforced and cured at least 28 days. Maintain 6 in clearance from baseplate edges to slab edges.

Ceiling Height

The 93.5 in post height fits garages with 8-foot ceilings or taller. Roughly half the ceiling requirement of full-rise two-post lifts.

Electrical

208-240V, single-phase, 50/60Hz dedicated circuit. The 5 HP motor requires appropriate circuit protection. Licensed electrician required.

Floorplate Note

The 10AP-SRT has a 1.4 in floorplate connecting columns at ground level instead of an overhead beam. This allows short post height but creates a low obstacle in the drive-thru path. Consider this for creeper use.

Questions About the 10AP-SRT?

Need help determining if a short-rise lift fits your space and service needs?

10AP-SRT FAQ

What ceiling height do I need for the 10AP-SRT?

The posts are 93.5 in tall (just under 8 feet). An 8-foot ceiling works, though 9 feet gives more clearance for taller vehicles. Roughly half the ceiling requirement of full-rise two-post lifts.

How high does the 10AP-SRT lift vehicles?

Maximum lift height is 46.25 in (about 4 feet). Enough to sit on a stool and work on tires, brakes, and suspension, but not enough to stand fully upright under most vehicles.

What's the difference between this and a full-rise two-post lift?

Full-rise lifts have 145+ in post heights and 69-75 in rise, allowing you to stand under the vehicle. The 10AP-SRT has 93.5 in posts and 46 in rise, fitting low ceilings but limiting you to seated or kneeling work.

What's the floorplate and does it matter?

The 10AP-SRT has a 1.4 in floorplate connecting columns at ground level instead of an overhead beam. This allows short post height but creates a low obstacle in the drive path that can interfere with creepers.

What types of work is this lift best for?

Tire service, wheel work, brake jobs, detailing, undercoating, and light maintenance where you don't need to stand upright under the vehicle. Not ideal for exhaust work or transmission jobs.

What are the concrete requirements?

Minimum 4.25 in thick concrete with 3,000 PSI compressive strength. Steel-reinforced and cured at least 28 days. Keep anchors 6 in from slab edges.

What electrical connection is required?

208-240V, single-phase, 50/60Hz dedicated circuit. The 5 HP motor requires a licensed electrician for hookup.

How quiet is the 10AP-SRT?

Less than 43 dB, quieter than normal conversation. Suitable for residential garages where noise is a concern.

What does the warranty cover?

5 years on structure, 2 years on hydraulics, 1 year on electrical and labor. Includes ground freight on warranty parts.

Can this lift EVs and heavier vehicles?

Yes, within the 10,000 lb capacity and 5,000 lb per axle limits. The 4.5 in minimum pad height works for most vehicles.
