Features

Column tilts about 25 degrees

A pedal moves the column back and returns it to the working position. On successive rims of the same size, the tool arm can stay locked while the column moves between wheels.

Air blaster in the clamping jaws

An oversized air blaster in the clamping jaws directs air at stubborn tire beads for immediate seating.

Pedal operated bead breaker

Lean the wheel on the support at the body's right side, with the blade against the tire, not the rim. A pedal drives the blade with 2,500 kg of force; release it and turn the tire slightly between strokes.

Horizontal and vertical tool lock

The lock valve secures the tool arm in both directions once the head is positioned. With the head locked over the rim, the working gap is about 2 mm.

Protectors at two rim contact points

Clamp protectors and dismount-head protectors are standard for work on delicate chrome and alloy rims. They are designed to prevent scratches at the jaws and tool head.

Conditioned air for the pneumatic system

The factory-installed air preparation system lubricates and filters shop air, removes water and regulates pressure before that air drives the changer's pneumatic functions. This conditioning supports long-term reliability.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does a 13-inch rim fit the Daytona TC-890T?
Yes, with outside clamping. That range is 13 to 26 inches; inside clamping begins at 15 inches and reaches 28 inches.
Will the Daytona TC-890T fit where the TC-890 will not?
It can when the bay is narrow but deep enough for the column's full movement. The TC-890T needs 66 in across and 69 in front to back, including tilt and swing; the TC-890 takes 82 in across and 48 in front to back.
Can the Daytona TC-890T change a tire with a tube?
Yes. Keep the valve about 10 cm to the right of the tool head while demounting. To remove the tube, tilt the column back without unlocking the tool arm, take out the tube, and then work the second bead.
How fast should the Daytona TC-890T column tilt?
One tilt stroke is set to take about 2 seconds. If its movement becomes faster or slower over time, the speed-adjusting valve can restore the stroke speed.
What assembly does the Daytona TC-890T need before use?
The column assembly fits the body on a rotation shaft with a 70 N.m tightening torque. The bead-breaker blade attaches to its cylinder rod. A pressure gauge mounts to the column with a screw.
What limits apply to Daytona TC-890T burst inflation?
Burst inflation is for a tubeless wheel clamped on the turntable, with the pedal pressed to its middle position. Noise can reach 85 dB, so use hearing protection. On the machine, pressure must stay at or below 3.5 bar (51 psi); move a tire needing higher pressure to an inflation cage.
