Features

Arms and pads for varied contact points

Three-stage front and rear arms pair with three-stage screw-up pads. Standard truck adapters extend the contact options when this 12,000 lb lift is assigned larger vehicles.

Nothing crosses the working floor

The hydraulic hose and equalization cables cross overhead, leaving no plate on the floor between the posts.

A roof contact stops the rise

The overhead limit bar stops the rise when it meets the vehicle's highest point, protecting the roof. Full-length rubber door guards cover the columns where vehicle doors may open.

Hydraulic drive with linked movement

A direct-drive cylinder works inside each column, and equalization cables coordinate the two carriages.

Carriage and arm locking

The safety locks engage during the rise and open from one release point. A separate locking device holds each positioned support arm against turning.

Polyethylene carriage slides

High-polymer polyethylene wear-resistant blocks line the moving carriage surfaces.

Frequently Asked Questions

What ceiling height does the Daytona LTPA12 2-post lift need?
The standard build is 141.7 inches tall and needs at least 144 inches of ceiling height; with the optional height kit, the lift needs 168 inches. The kit adds 2 ft of clearance beneath the overhead bar.
What if the floor falls short of the Daytona LTPA12 concrete spec?
Use a pad 48 inches square and 6 inches deep beneath each post if the existing concrete fails the lift's floor requirement.
Can the Daytona LTPA12 go in an outdoor bay?
No. The LTPA12 is for indoor use, with an operating ambient temperature range of 41 to 104 degrees F.
Can the Daytona LTPA12 be set on an upper floor or above a basement?
Only if the construction department grants permission and the building's architectural engineer approves the placement in writing. Secure both before choosing that LTPA12 location.
How should a front-engine vehicle sit on the Daytona LTPA12?
Center the vehicle between the columns with its center of gravity, which is not the same as its midpoint, close to the column line, and lift only at the maker's recommended lift points. For a front-engine vehicle, the front and rear distances from the column line run about 2:3; move a vehicle over 3.5 tons slightly rearward. The short arms go at the front and the long arms at the rear.
