Features

Wide Design for Larger Vehicles

110.25" overall width with 100.25" between columns and 86.5" drive-thru clearance. Accommodates trucks with extended mirrors, wide-body vehicles, and SUVs without tight maneuvering. Same compact length as narrow models while providing significantly more interior clearance.

Low-Profile Runways with Extended Ramps

5" minimum runway height with gentle, extended approach ramps featuring non-skid surfaces. Runway length of 158.25" accommodates most passenger vehicles. Low-clearance sports cars and race cars load without scraping.

Heavy-Duty Aircraft Cable System

Four 3/8" stainless steel aircraft cables, each rated for 14,400 lb, collectively over 800% of lift capacity. Dual-hub oversized sheaves reduce friction and extend component life. All cables fully enclosed within columns for protection and clean appearance.

Multi-Position Automatic Safety Locks

17 locking positions every 4" across 82" of rise. Four independent safety locks engage automatically as the lift rises. Push-button pneumatic release disengages all locks simultaneously. Secondary slack-cable device provides backup protection.

Enclosed Internal Components

Lifting cables, airlines, safety latches, and sheaves are fully contained within the columns, protected from weather, chemicals, and physical contact. Professional appearance suitable for showrooms and homes. Side-by-side installations won't risk cable contact between units.

Electric-Hydraulic Power System

Single hydraulic cylinder mounted under the runway with integrated zero-maintenance power unit. Reaches full rise in 35 seconds. Internal anti-sway slider blocks in each column ensure smooth, stable lifting.

FAQ

What is the maximum weight capacity?

7,000 lb total with 3,500 lb front and rear axle ratings. Handles sports cars, sedans, SUVs, and light-duty trucks within the weight limit. Note that shorter wheelbase vehicles have reduced capacity.

How much wider is the HD-7W compared to the narrow model?

The HD-7W is 10" wider than the HD-7P. Overall width is 110.25" vs 100.25". Drive-thru clearance is 86.5" vs 76.5", providing significantly more room for trucks with extended mirrors.

Will this fit in my garage?

The HD-7W has a footprint of approximately 200.5" × 110.25" (16.7 ft × 9.2 ft) with ramps. Column height is 100" (8 ft 4 in). Add vehicle height plus working clearance for total ceiling requirement.

Can low-clearance sports cars use this lift?

Yes. The 5" low-profile runways combined with extended, gentle approach ramps allow most sports cars to drive on without scraping.

Do I need an air compressor?

Yes. An air compressor is required to operate the pneumatic safety lock release. Specification: minimum 30 PSI / 3 CFM, up to 25 CFM at 150 PSI max.

Can I move the lift after installation?

Yes, with the optional caster kit. The 4-piece caster kit with foot-lock casters allows repositioning with or without a vehicle on the runways.

Can I install this lift outdoors?

No. BendPak specifies indoor installation only. While the enclosed design protects components from weather, the lift is not rated for outdoor use.

What electrical power is required?

Standard configuration is 220 VAC / 60 Hz / single-phase. Other voltages available upon request. A dedicated circuit with time-delay fuse (25A recommended) and main power disconnect switch are required.

What optional accessories are available?

The HD-7W includes rail-kits for optional accessories: 4,500 lb rolling bridge jack (Model RJ-45), aluminum approach ramps, drip trays, jack tray, and aluminum deck panels for full platform coverage.
