Triumph NTC-690 Tire Changer and NTB-1200 Wheel Balancer Combo for Heavy-Duty Trucks, Agriculture, and Construction Equipment
The Triumph NTC-690 and NTB-1200 combo delivers commercial-grade tire service capability for shops handling oversized wheels and heavy equipment. The NTC-690 tire changer accommodates tires up to 90 inches in diameter with a clamping range of 14 to 56 inches, making it ideal for semi trucks, agricultural machinery, and construction vehicles. The NTB-1200 wheel balancer handles wheels from 10 to 28 inches with precision accuracy of ±1 gram for standard weights and completes each cycle in just 8 seconds. The tire changer runs on 220V power while the balancer operates on standard 110V. Both units are backed by Triumph's 1 year parts warranty.
Triumph NTC-690 and NTB-1200: Who It's For
- Commercial Truck Service Centers: Handle semi truck and trailer tires with ease using the NTC-690's 90 inch tire capacity and 56 inch clamping range. This combo lets you service fleet vehicles quickly and safely.
- Agricultural Equipment Dealers: Farm equipment tires are massive and unwieldy. The robotic arm and wireless remote control eliminate the physical strain of mounting and demounting oversized agricultural tires.
- Construction Equipment Shops: Earthmovers, loaders, and heavy machinery require specialized tire service equipment. This combo handles the large wheel sizes and heavy weights common in construction fleets.
- Fleet Maintenance Facilities: Keep your trucks on the road with fast turnaround times. The NTB-1200's 8-second cycle time and auto-measuring feature maximize shop efficiency.
- Expanding Tire Shops: Add heavy-duty capability to your existing passenger car service. The NTB-1200 balancer handles wheels from 10 to 28 inches, covering everything from light trucks to commercial vehicles.
Triumph NTC-690 and NTB-1200 Features
Robotic Arm Technology
The NTC-690's robotic arm automates the tire changing process for large vehicles, dramatically reducing the physical labor required to mount and demount heavy tires. This feature transforms what would be a two-person job into a one-person operation, improving both efficiency and workplace safety. The robotic assistance is particularly valuable when working with stiff sidewall tires common on commercial trucks.
Wireless Remote Control
Operate the NTC-690 from a safe distance using the included wireless remote control. This allows technicians to position themselves for optimal visibility while controlling clamping, rotation, and bead breaking functions. The remote eliminates the need to reach across large tires or work in awkward positions near moving components.
Auto-Measuring Wheel Balancer
The NTB-1200 features automatic distance and wheel diameter measuring that simplifies the balancing process. Simply mount the wheel and the balancer determines the correct parameters automatically. This eliminates manual data entry errors and speeds up each service, helping technicians maintain consistent accuracy across every wheel.
8-Second Cycle Time
Complete wheel balancing in just 8 seconds with the NTB-1200. This rapid cycle time, combined with the auto-measuring feature, allows shops to process more wheels per hour without sacrificing accuracy. The balancer maintains ±1 gram precision for standard weights and ±10 grams for heavier applications.
Massive Tire Capacity
The NTC-690 handles tires up to 90 inches in diameter and 42 inches wide, with a clamping range of 14 to 56 inches. This capacity covers virtually any commercial truck, agricultural, or construction tire you'll encounter. The 120 PSI maximum air pressure accommodates even the most demanding bead seating requirements.
Dual Wheel Size Range
While designed for heavy-duty applications, the NTB-1200 balancer handles wheel sizes from 10 to 28 inches. This versatility means you can service passenger vehicle wheels alongside commercial truck wheels using a single machine. Rim widths from 1.5 to 20 inches are accommodated, with a maximum wheel weight capacity of 350 lb.
Heavy-Duty Industrial Construction
Built for continuous commercial use, the NTC-690 weighs 2,400 lb and the NTB-1200 weighs 720 lb. This substantial mass provides stability during operation and indicates the robust construction throughout both machines. The tire changer's 42mm shaft and the balancer's protective cover are designed for years of demanding service.

Triumph NTC-690 and NTB-1200 Shipping and Delivery
LTL Freight Delivery
Your tire equipment ships via LTL common carrier freight on a 48 foot semi truck. Freight shipping typically takes 3-14 days depending on your location. When your equipment ships, you will receive an email with carrier information and tracking number. Please note this is a special order item with a shipping time of 2-3 months.
Forklift Required for Unloading
The NTC-690 and NTB-1200 combo is too large for lift gate service. You must have a forklift available to unload the equipment from the truck. The truck driver does not move equipment inside your shop or garage and does not assemble equipment. If you prefer, the equipment can be shipped to the carrier's nearest freight terminal for pickup with a trailer or moving van.
Delivery Appointment
You are responsible for calling the freight company to schedule a delivery appointment. We cannot schedule this for you as we do not know your availability. Be patient with freight shipping as it is slower than small package delivery.
Shipping Exclusions
Free shipping does not include delivery to government secure locations, state and national parks, construction sites, islands, Alaska, or Hawaii. Contact us for shipping quotes to these locations.

What electrical connections do I need for this combo?
The NTC-690 tire changer requires a 220V circuit. The NTB-1200 wheel balancer operates on standard 110V power. Plan for separate dedicated circuits for each machine.
Why is a forklift required for delivery?
The NTC-690 shipping weight is 2,400 lb and the NTB-1200 weighs 720 lb. These units are too large and heavy for standard lift gate service. A forklift is necessary to safely unload the equipment from the delivery truck.

Does the NTC-690 have bead blast capability?
No, the NTC-690 does not include bead blast. It operates at a maximum of 120 PSI for standard bead seating. The robotic arm and bead press clamp assist with mounting difficult tires.
How accurate is the NTB-1200 wheel balancer?
The NTB-1200 provides ±1 gram accuracy for standard wheel weights and ±10 gram accuracy for heavier applications. The auto-measuring feature ensures consistent results by automatically determining wheel parameters.
What accessories come with the tire changer?
The NTC-690 includes a wireless remote control, crowbar, clamp covers, bead press clamp, and an instructional video. The robotic arm is integrated into the machine for automated tire handling.
Can I pick up the equipment at a freight terminal instead?
Yes. If you prefer, the equipment can be shipped to the carrier's nearest freight terminal for pickup with your own trailer or moving van. This option is useful if you have forklift capability at your shop but not at a residential delivery address.
