Who It's For

Car collectors and enthusiasts who need to store multiple vehicles in a standard garage bay. The tri-level design lets you park three cars, trucks, or SUVs in the footprint of one. If you have more vehicles than floor space, this solves the problem without building an addition.

Commercial parking facilities looking to increase capacity. The HD-973PX triples your parking density. Each platform operates on its own, so attendants can retrieve any vehicle without shuffling the others around first.

Dealerships and storage facilities that need to maximize inventory space. The extended runway length handles full-size pickups and SUVs that won't fit on standard parking lifts. The 9,000 lb lower platform capacity covers most trucks on the market.

Key Features

Triple Vehicle Storage

Park one vehicle on the ground, one on the lower platform, and one on the upper platform. The bottom platform rises to 84.5" max height, and the top platform reaches 156". Both platforms operate independently through separate controls, so you can raise or lower either platform without affecting the other.

Extended Runway Length

The HD-973PX is the extended version of the HD-973P. Both platform runways measure 208.5" (5,296 mm). Overall length including ramps is 252.25" (6,409 mm). This extra length accommodates full-size trucks and SUVs. At full capacity, the top platform fits vehicles with wheelbases up to 140" and the bottom platform handles wheelbases up to 135".

Independent Platform Operation

Each platform has its own hydraulic system and controls. The top platform takes about 90 seconds to reach full height, and the bottom platform takes about 50 seconds. Need the middle car? Lower the bottom platform and drive out while the top vehicle stays in place.

Multi-Position Safety Locks

The top platform locks at 34 positions and the bottom platform locks at 16 positions, both with 4" spacing. Locks engage automatically as the platform rises. Push-button pneumatic release (requires 75 PSI / 3 CFM) makes lowering simple. Redundant anti-fall devices provide backup protection if a cable were to fail.

Welded Steel Construction

The frame uses welded steel with a durable powder coat finish. Heavy-duty 3/8" lifting cables and wide base plates add stability. Full-length aluminum runway decking. Drive-thru clearance is 86.5" (2,197 mm) between columns. Width between runways is adjustable: 35" or 41".

Frequently Asked Questions

What's the difference between the HD-973P and HD-973PX?

The HD-973PX is the extended version with taller columns (169.75" vs 161") and longer runways. The PX model fits longer wheelbase vehicles like full-size trucks and SUVs. Capacities are the same: 9,000 lb bottom, 7,000 lb top.

Can I store a full-size pickup truck on this lift?

Yes. The extended 208.5" runways accommodate vehicles with wheelbases up to 140" on the top platform and 135" on the bottom platform at full capacity. This fits most full-size trucks and SUVs including F-150s, Silverados, and similar vehicles.

What ceiling height do I need?

Minimum 169.75" (14.1 ft) for the columns. Plan for 16-17 ft total if parking trucks or SUVs on the top platform to allow clearance for the vehicle height.

Do I need an air compressor?

Yes. The pneumatic safety lock release requires minimum 75 PSI / 3 CFM air supply. You must provide, install, and maintain the air compressor separately.

Can I access the middle vehicle without moving the top one?

Yes. Each platform operates independently with its own hydraulic system. Lower just the bottom platform to access the middle vehicle while the top platform stays in place.

What warranty coverage is included?

BendPak's 5-2-1 warranty: 5 years structural, 2 years hydraulics, 1 year operating components and labor with free shipping on warranty parts.
