XPR-12FDL Key Features

Open-Top Design

The open-top floorplate design eliminated overhead obstructions, providing unrestricted vertical clearance for lifting taller vehicles like high-rise vans, Sprinters, and lifted trucks without worrying about clearance issues.

Dual Direct-Drive Hydraulics

Unlike chain or screw mechanisms, the direct-drive hydraulic system minimized moving parts, reducing maintenance requirements and the risk of breakdowns while providing smooth, dependable lifting operation.

Triple-Telescoping Arms

The triple-telescoping arms extended from 39 to 59 inches, accommodating everything from wide trucks and SUVs to compact sports cars. The extended reach made it easier to access lift points on vehicles with long wheelbases.

Low-Profile Dropped-End Pads

The low-profile, dropped-end frame contact pads slipped easily under low-riding vehicles, protecting chassis and preventing damage during lifting operations. Minimum pad height was 5 inches.

16-Piece Adapter Set

The included adapter set featured stackable adapters (6" and 3"), polyurethane contact pads, and frame cradle pads, allowing safe lifting of vehicles with running boards, auxiliary fuel tanks, and various frame configurations.

Single-Point Safety Release

The user-friendly single-point safety release simplified the lowering process, making it quick and easy to disengage the safety locks. Safety locks engaged every 3 inches throughout the lift stroke.

What is the direct replacement for the XPR-12FDL?

The BendPak 12APF is the direct replacement. It maintains the same 12,000 lb capacity and open-top floorplate design while adding all AP Series features including ASARS™ automatic arm restraints, Bi-Metric™ arms for symmetric/asymmetric lifting, and EV-ready construction.

Are XPR-12FDL replacement parts still available?

BendPak maintains parts support for discontinued models. Contact BendPak directly or an authorized dealer for replacement parts availability and pricing.

What are the main differences between the XPR-12FDL and 12APF?

Key differences include:

  • Arm System: Bi-Metric™ arms that work in both symmetric and asymmetric configurations without switching
  • Safety: ASARS™ (Automatic Swing Arm Restraint System) with 2,000+ lbs of holding force and 360-degree grip
  • Lock System: Patented automatic safety lock system for improved operator safety
  • Construction: Higher-tensile steel designed for heavier EVs and modern vehicles
  • Ceiling Height: 12APF is specifically optimized for low-ceiling environments
Is the XPR-12FDL still covered under warranty?

Original warranty coverage applies based on purchase date. Contact BendPak with your lift's serial number for warranty status verification.

Can the 12APF lift EVs with undercarriage battery packs?

Yes, the 12APF is designed as EV-ready with higher-tensile steel construction to handle the increased weight of electric vehicles.
