Features

110V Single Phase Power

The NTO-9AE runs on 110V single phase rather than the 220V or three phase service many commercial lifts demand. A dedicated circuit for the 3 HP motor is the only electrical work most garages need.

9,000 lb Capacity

9,000 lb covers most passenger cars, crossovers, mid-size trucks, and SUVs. Verify the vehicle's actual weight before lifting; if you regularly service 3/4 ton diesels, the 11,000 lb NT-11 is the better fit.

Dual Point Lock Release with Electric Cutoff

Lowering requires releasing two lock points at once, so a bumped handle cannot drop the lift. Safety locks engage automatically as it rises, and an electric cutoff stops the motor if it detects an electrical fault.

99 in Drive-Thru on an Overhead Frame

The overhead design routes the crossover above the vehicle instead of through a floor plate, keeping the bay floor clear for jacks and drains. Drive-thru width is 99 in with 111 in between posts.

50 Second Rise

The 3 HP motor takes the lift to its full 72 in height in about 50 seconds. That is full working clearance in under a minute, whether the queue is a shop schedule or a weekend project list.

Truck Adapters and Anchors Included

Truck adapters for higher frame rails and the anchor bolts for floor mounting are both in the crate. The 4.5 in lowered arm height reaches under most low cars without ramps; very low vehicles may still need low-profile approach ramps.

Installation Requirements

Floor Requirements

Minimum 4 in concrete slab at 3,000 PSI, fully cured and free of cracks or damage where the anchor bolts go. Anchor bolts are included; base plates measure 18 x 14 in.

Electrical Requirements

110V single phase with a dedicated circuit for the 3 HP motor. Consult a licensed electrician if you are unsure about your panel.

Ceiling Height

Overall lift height is 142 in, about 11 ft 10 in. A 12 ft ceiling is the practical minimum; measure your actual clearance and account for lights, garage door tracks, and HVAC ducts.

Space

Overall width is 133 in plus working room on both sides, with length for vehicle overhang and walking room. Professional installation is recommended for proper anchoring and alignment.

Shipping & Delivery

Freight shipping within the lower 48 states; the delivery charge for your address is shown at checkout.

You are responsible for unloading. Lifts and large machines require a forklift, tractor, or other heavy machinery; liftgate service is not available for them and the driver does not assist. If unloading isn't possible at your location, choose a warehouse pickup option where offered.

Inspect your order before signing the Bill of Lading. Note visible freight damage or shortages on the delivery receipt at delivery, and report a missing power unit or motor at delivery. Other missing or incorrect equipment must be reported within 14 days.

Warranty

Triumph equipment is covered by the manufacturer's 1 year parts warranty; labor is not covered. Support is handled by phone: we troubleshoot the issue with you, then ship the needed replacement part at no cost, with ground shipping on warranty parts covered by Garage Supply Guys.

Hydraulic cylinders carry a 30 day full warranty; after 30 days, a seal kit and instructions are provided. Rubber lifting pads are wear items and are not covered.

Frequently Asked Questions

What vehicles can the NTO-9AE lift?
The 9,000 lb capacity accommodates most passenger cars, crossovers, mid-size trucks, and SUVs, and the included truck adapters reach frame lift points on vehicles with higher ground clearance. Always check your vehicle's weight before lifting.
Will this lift fit in my garage?
The lift stands 142 in tall (about 11 ft 10 in) and 133 in wide, with a 99 in drive-thru width and 111 in between posts. You need at least a 12 ft ceiling, measured against any obstructions like lights, door tracks, or ductwork.
What electrical power does it require?
Standard 110V single phase. Use a dedicated circuit for the 3 HP motor rather than sharing an outlet circuit, and consult an electrician if you are unsure.
What are the concrete floor requirements?
A minimum 4 in thick slab rated at 3,000 PSI or better, fully cured and free of cracks where the anchor bolts install. The base plates measure 18 x 14 in each.
How do I unload the lift when it arrives?
The NTO-9AE ships at 1,407 lb and cannot be unloaded by hand. You need equipment rated for the full weight, such as a forklift, Bobcat, tractor, tow truck, or backhoe; the driver does not unload it.
What safety features does it include?
A dual point safety lock release that requires engaging two release points simultaneously before lowering, automatic safety locks that engage as the lift rises, and an electric safety cutoff that stops the motor on an electrical fault.
