The Triumph NTJ-2 is a two stage transmission jack rated at 1,000 lb, with a working range from 34 in collapsed to 68 in at full extension. That top height is the number that matters: it reaches transmissions on vehicles raised on a two post or four post lift, not just jobs done near the floor.
Raising runs off a foot pedal, so both hands stay on the case while you line up the bellhousing. Lowering runs through a spring loaded release handle that bleeds pressure gradually instead of dropping the load, and the adjustable saddle with lock down chains keeps the transmission strapped in place through the whole travel.
