Jet Blast Inflation on the Changer

The NTC-950's built-in Jet Blast Inflation System delivers a burst of air at up to 120 PSI to seat beads that conventional inflation cannot, which is exactly where low-profile and run-flat tires get frustrating. It runs off the same shop air feed as the rest of the machine.

5,500 lb Bead Breaker

Breaking beads on wheels that have corroded to the rim is the roughest job in tire service. The NTC-950's breaker puts 5,500 lb of force behind it, which spares the operator and keeps the job moving instead of stalling at the first stuck bead.

One-Parameter Data Entry on the Balancer

Instead of manually entering diameter, width, and offset, you enter one parameter and the NTB-800 measures and inputs the other two. Over a day of wheels, that is a real time saving and one less place for operator error to put a weight in the wrong spot.

Wheel Brake for Weight Placement

After the spin cycle, the NTB-800's wheel brake holds the wheel in position so you can apply weights precisely at the indicated locations without the wheel drifting. Small feature, direct effect on how often a wheel needs a second spin.

Matched Coverage Across Both Machines

The changer clamps 14 to 26 in outside and 16 to 28 in inside with a 43 in tire limit; the balancer takes 10 to 28 in wheels, rim widths from 1.5 to 20 in, tires to 44 in, and wheels to 150 lb. What the changer can mount, the balancer can spin.

Both Machines on 110V

The changer and balancer each run on standard 110V single phase. No high-voltage circuits or special wiring, which keeps setup cost down; dedicate an outlet to each machine and you are running.

Working Tooling Included

The NTC-950 ships with metal and plastic demount heads, plastic wheel clamp covers, a tire iron, and a lube bucket with brush. The NTB-800 includes its safety hood, quick release wing nut, cone adapters, wheel weight hammer, and rim caliper. Neither machine needs an accessory order to start working.

Installation Requirements

Floor and Space

Level concrete recommended for both machines. Plan a minimum 56 x 40 in footprint for the tire changer and 28 x 48 in for the balancer, each with working clearance around it.

Electrical and Air

Both machines run on 110V single phase; dedicate an outlet to each. The tire changer needs compressed air at up to 120 PSI, and the compressor is not included in the combo.

Ceiling Height

The assembled NTC-950 stands 80 in and the NTB-800 stands 62 in. Allow headroom above the changer for handling larger tires.

Assembly

Some assembly is required on both machines, and moving them into position is on you; the freight driver does not assemble or place equipment.

Shipping & Delivery

Freight shipping within the lower 48 states; the delivery charge for your address is shown at checkout.

You are responsible for unloading. Lifts and large machines require a forklift, tractor, or other heavy machinery; liftgate service is not available for them and the driver does not assist. If unloading isn't possible at your location, choose a warehouse pickup option where offered.

Inspect your order before signing the Bill of Lading. Note visible freight damage or shortages on the delivery receipt at delivery, and report a missing power unit or motor at delivery. Other missing or incorrect equipment must be reported within 14 days.

Warranty

Triumph equipment is covered by the manufacturer's 1 year parts warranty; labor is not covered. Support is handled by phone: we troubleshoot the issue with you, then ship the needed replacement part at no cost, with ground shipping on warranty parts covered by Garage Supply Guys.

Hydraulic cylinders carry a 30 day full warranty; after 30 days, a seal kit and instructions are provided. Rubber lifting pads are wear items and are not covered.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the largest wheel the NTC-950 tire changer takes?
Outside clamping to 26 in and inside clamping to 28 in, with a 43 in maximum tire diameter and 15 in maximum wheel width. That covers most cars, crossovers, SUVs, and light trucks.
What wheel sizes can the NTB-800 balancer accommodate?
Wheels from 10 to 28 in diameter, rim widths from 1.5 to 20 in, tire diameters to 44 in, and wheel weights up to 150 lb.
What electrical power does this combo need?
Both machines run on standard 110V single phase. No special wiring or high-voltage circuits; we recommend dedicating one outlet to each machine.
What does automatic data entry mean on the balancer?
You manually enter one wheel parameter instead of three. The NTB-800 measures and inputs the other two itself, which saves time on every wheel and removes a common source of balancing error.
Do I need an air compressor?
Yes, the NTC-950 tire changer requires compressed air and works with pressure up to 120 PSI. A compressor is not included, so source one separately if your shop does not already have suitable air.
How accurate is the NTB-800?
Balancing accuracy of plus or minus 1 gram with a 6 to 9 second cycle per wheel, and the display reads in standard or metric units.
