The Triumph NTC-950-2 and NTB-550 is a tire changer wheel balancer combo aimed at shops where difficult tires are the rule, not the exception. The changer carries two pneumatic assist arms, so the bead stays held down on both sides while wide profile, low profile, and run flat tires go on.
Bead work runs through a side-mounted 5,500 lb bead breaker and a bead blast system fed by shop air at up to 120 PSI, with clamping from 16-28 in inside and 14-26 in outside and tires to 43 in. On the balancing side, the NTB-550 reads to within 1 gram in a 6 to 9 second cycle, with dimensions entered manually using the included rim caliper.
Both machines plug into 110V, so the install is outlets and an air line rather than an electrical contract. If your bays see a steady run of run flats, the second assist arm is what keeps those jobs at one technician.

Dual Pneumatic Assist Arms
Two arms work the tire together, holding the bead down on both sides during mounting and demounting. Pneumatic operation applies consistent pressure without the fatigue of muscling a stiff sidewall, which is exactly what run flat and low profile work demands.
Bead Blast Built In
A burst of air into the sidewall helps break stubborn beads and seat new ones, with no separate seating equipment taking up floor space. It runs off the same shop air supply, up to 120 PSI.
