Triumph NTC-950-2 and NTB-1200 Features

Dual Pneumatic Assist Arms

The NTC-950-2 comes equipped with two pneumatic assist arms that make changing even the most difficult tires significantly easier. These arms hold the tire bead in position while you work, reducing the physical effort required and minimizing the risk of damaging wheels or tires. This feature is particularly valuable when dealing with stiff sidewalls on run-flat tires or low-profile performance tires.

Bead Blast Technology

The built-in bead blast system shoots a powerful burst of air into the tire sidewall to help break stubborn beads and seat beads on the rim. This eliminates the frustration of fighting with difficult tires and speeds up your workflow. The system operates at up to 120 PSI for maximum effectiveness.

Heavy-Duty Bead Breaker

A side-mounted bead breaker delivers 5,500 lb of force to separate even the most seized tire beads from their rims. This robust design handles wheels that have been on vehicles for years without issue, saving you time and preventing damage to customer wheels.

Wide Clamping Range

The NTC-950-2 accommodates a broad range of wheel sizes with inside clamping from 16 to 28 inches and outside clamping from 14 to 26 inches. The turntable handles wheels up to 15 inches wide and tires up to 43 inches in diameter, covering everything from compact car wheels to light truck tires.

Precision Wheel Balancing

The NTB-1200 delivers +/-1 gram accuracy for smooth, vibration-free results your customers will notice. The balancer accommodates wheels from 10 to 28 inches in diameter with rim widths from 1.5 to 20 inches. A 6 to 9 second cycle time keeps jobs moving quickly.

Built-In Wheel Lift

The NTB-1200 includes an integrated wheel lift that helps technicians mount heavy wheels onto the balancer shaft without straining their backs. This feature is especially valuable when working with large truck wheels that can weigh up to 350 lb.

Steel and Plastic Mount/Demount Heads

The tire changer includes both steel and plastic mount/demount heads so you can choose the right tool for each wheel. Use the plastic head on delicate alloy wheels to prevent scratches, and switch to steel for heavy-duty applications. Plastic wheel clamp covers provide additional protection.

Standard 110V Operation

Both machines run on standard 110V household power, making installation straightforward in any shop with a typical electrical setup. The tire changer uses a 1.5 HP motor while the wheel balancer uses a 1/3 HP motor. Both require compressed air to operate.
