Features
Built-In Wheel Lift on the Balancer
The NTB-1200's integrated lift raises the wheel to the shaft, which matters when the assembly weighs anywhere near its 350 lb maximum. Mounting heavy truck wheels stops being a two-person lift-and-line-up job.
350 lb Capacity on a 42 mm Shaft
Wheels from 10 to 28 in, rim widths from 1.5 to 20 in, and tires up to 51 in in diameter. The 42 mm shaft and 350 lb rating are what separate this balancer from lighter-duty machines when mixed fleets and heavy assemblies are the workload.
Dual Pneumatic Assist Arms
Both arms hold the bead down during mounting and demounting, so run flat and stiff low profile sidewalls stay put instead of fighting the working head. Pneumatic pressure stays consistent through the whole job.
5,500 lb Bead Breaker Plus Bead Blast
The side-mounted breaker pushes 5,500 lb of force through seized and reinforced beads, and the bead blast system helps seat new tires with a burst of air. Both run off shop air at up to 120 PSI.
Within 1 Gram in 6 to 9 Seconds
The NTB-1200 balances to plus or minus 1 gram with a 6 to 9 second cycle, displayed in standard or metric. Data entry is manual with the included rim caliper; there is no automatic entry on this machine.
Heads and Covers for Alloy Wheels
A steel mount/demount head for everyday work, a plastic head for alloys, and plastic wheel clamp covers for the jaws. Expensive wheels get through the shop without new scratches to explain.

Installation Requirements
Floor and Space
Level concrete able to support the combined equipment weight. The tire changer's footprint is 56 x 93 in and it stands 80 in tall, so check ceiling clearance when planning the layout; the balancer takes 28 x 47 in at 56 in high. Leave clearance for tire handling and wheel mounting around both.
Electrical
Each machine plugs into a standard 110V outlet: a 1.5 HP motor on the changer and 1/3 HP on the balancer. No three phase power and no special wiring.
Air Supply
A shop compressor with adequate CFM for the pneumatic assist arms and bead blast system, with the tire changer rated to 120 PSI.

What wheel sizes can the NTC-950-2 tire changer handle?
It clamps 14-26 in outside and 16-28 in inside, with wheels up to 15 in wide and tires up to 43 in in diameter. That runs from compact cars to light trucks.
What wheel sizes does the NTB-1200 wheel balancer accept?
Wheels from 10 to 28 in with rim widths of 1.5 to 20 in, tires up to 51 in, and assemblies up to 350 lb. The built-in wheel lift raises heavy assemblies onto the 42 mm shaft.
Can this combo handle run flat and low profile tires?
Yes. The dual pneumatic assist arms hold stiff sidewalls in position while you work, the bead blast system operates at up to 120 PSI, and the side-mounted breaker delivers 5,500 lb of force for stubborn beads.
What electrical and air supply do I need?
Each machine plugs into a standard 110V outlet. The changer also needs compressed air from a shop compressor with adequate CFM for the assist arms and bead blast, rated to 120 PSI.
How accurate is the NTB-1200?
Plus or minus 1 gram with a 6 to 9 second cycle, displayed in standard or metric. Dimensions are entered manually with the included rim caliper.
Does the tire changer include both steel and plastic heads?
Yes: a steel mount/demount head for heavy work and a plastic head for alloy wheels, plus plastic wheel clamp covers for extra rim protection during clamping.

All the details are at the bottom of our site under Shipping & Return Policy. You'll find everything about returns, freight damage, and any brand-specific rules.
Most larger items like car lifts and heavy equipment ship free, but depending on the brand there might be freight costs. Smaller items almost always have shipping fees via UPS, USPS, FedEx, etc. We'll show you any extra costs before you check out.
Shipping estimates are just that: estimates, and they're not guaranteed. Weather, freight delays, and carrier issues can throw things off, especially with bigger items. If you're on a tight timeline for installation, it's smart to give yourself some wiggle room.
Yep! Once it ships, we'll email you the tracking info so you can keep tabs on your delivery and plan accordingly.
We always send tracking info once your order ships. If it's been more than five business days and you haven't heard anything, just shoot us a message at support@garagesupplyguys.com or hit us up through the Contact Us page. We'll figure out what's going on.
