Dual Pneumatic Assist Arms

Two assist arms apply controlled downward pressure on the sidewall during mounting and demounting, holding the bead in the drop center where single-arm machines leave you improvising. On run-flats and low-profile tires this cuts the effort per wheel, which is what makes the machine hold up under a heavy daily tire count.

5,500 lb Side-Mount Bead Breaker

The side-mounted bead breaker produces 5,500 lb of force, enough for corroded rims and run-flat beads that have been seated for years. The side mount gives good leverage and keeps the turntable area clear while you work.

Bead Blast at 120 PSI

The integrated bead blast fires a burst of compressed air at the bead to snap it onto the seat. Wide and low-profile tires that will not take air through the valve stem alone seat in seconds instead of eating minutes per wheel.

Clamping from 14 to 28 in

Inside clamping runs 16 to 28 in and outside clamping 14 to 26 in, with capacity for 43 in tire diameter and 15 in wheel width. That covers passenger cars through light trucks and many commercial fitments on one machine.

Steel and Plastic Mount Heads

Both heads ship with the machine: steel for durability on everyday work, plastic for alloys and custom finishes. Swapping heads is quick, so protecting an expensive wheel does not slow the line.

Clamp Covers for Alloy Wheels

Plastic covers over the wheel clamps keep the clamping points from marking alloy and chrome finishes, closing the last spot where a tire machine usually touches bare rim.

Installation Requirements

Floor and Space

Level concrete with clearance around the 56 x 93 x 80 in assembled footprint for the operator and tire handling. The assist arms need free travel above the 80 in height.

Electrical

110V standard outlet for the 1.5 HP motor.

Compressed Air

Shop air to 120 PSI runs the assist arms, bead breaker, and bead blast. A compressor is required and not included.

Shipping & Delivery

Freight shipping within the lower 48 states; the delivery charge for your address is shown at checkout.

You are responsible for unloading. Lifts and large machines require a forklift, tractor, or other heavy machinery; liftgate service is not available for them and the driver does not assist. If unloading isn't possible at your location, choose a warehouse pickup option where offered.

Inspect your order before signing the Bill of Lading. Note visible freight damage or shortages on the delivery receipt at delivery, and report a missing power unit or motor at delivery. Other missing or incorrect equipment must be reported within 14 days.

Warranty

Triumph equipment is covered by the manufacturer's 1 year parts warranty; labor is not covered. Support is handled by phone: we troubleshoot the issue with you, then ship the needed replacement part at no cost, with ground shipping on warranty parts covered by Garage Supply Guys.

Hydraulic cylinders carry a 30 day full warranty; after 30 days, a seal kit and instructions are provided. Rubber lifting pads are wear items and are not covered.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can the NTC-950-2 handle run-flat tires?
Yes. The dual pneumatic assist arms provide the controlled pressure that stiff run-flat and low-profile sidewalls need during mounting and demounting, and the 5,500 lb bead breaker has the force to break seized run-flat beads.
What wheel sizes fit?
Inside clamping 16 to 28 in, outside clamping 14 to 26 in, maximum wheel width 15 in, maximum tire diameter 43 in. That covers most passenger vehicles, SUVs, light trucks, and many commercial applications.
What power and air does it need?
The 1.5 HP motor runs on standard 110V. You also need a shop compressor capable of 120 PSI to power the assist arms, bead breaker, and bead blast system.
What is bead blast?
A system that fires a burst of compressed air at the tire bead to seat it quickly. It is the practical fix for wide and low-profile tires that will not seat with standard inflation. On this machine it operates at up to 120 PSI.
How does it protect alloy wheels?
A plastic mount/demount head and plastic wheel clamp covers are included alongside the steel head, so alloy, chrome, and custom wheels can be serviced without metal contacting the finish.
What comes with the machine?
The changer with dual pneumatic assist arms, a steel mount/demount head, a plastic mount/demount head, plastic wheel clamp covers, a soap tank with application brush, and a tire tool bar.
