Assist Arm for Run-Flat and Low-Profile Tires

The NTC-950-1's assist arm holds the tire bead in place during mounting, so stiff sidewalls do not have to be muscled over the rim edge. It is a single-arm layout: right for a shop with a mixed diet of tires, while shops living on run-flats may want the dual-arm NTC-950-2.

5,500 lb Bead Breaker

The bead breaker delivers 5,500 lb of force, enough for beads that have been seated and corroding for years. Consistent performance across passenger cars, light trucks, and SUVs.

Jet Blast Inflator

The Jet Blast system delivers a high-volume burst of air around the bead to establish the initial seal. Low-profile tires that standard inflation cannot seat get going without wrestling.

Clamping to 28 in

The changer clamps 14 to 26 in outside or 16 to 28 in inside, with a 15 in maximum wheel width and 43 in maximum tire diameter. That is the large majority of what rolls into a general shop.

Automatic Data Entry on the NTB-800

Enter one measurement and the balancer calculates the other two. Fewer keystrokes per wheel, fewer chances to fat-finger a parameter, and a real speed difference across a day of sets.

Wheel Brake for Weight Placement

The NTB-800's brake holds the wheel at the marked position while you apply the weight, so the assembly does not roll away from your placement point. First-attempt weight installation instead of chase-and-retry.

6 to 9 Second Cycle at ±1g

The balancer spins, measures, and displays in 6 to 9 seconds with ±1g accuracy, and the display reads in standard or metric units. Combined with automatic data entry, the balancer keeps pace with the changer.

Installation Requirements

Floor and Space

Level concrete in good condition. The balancer assembles to 28 x 48 x 62 in plus working room; give the changer clearance for operator movement and tire handling.

Electrical

Both machines run on standard 110V. Dedicated circuits are recommended for each.

Compressed Air

The tire changer requires compressed air up to 120 PSI for the bead breaker, turntable, and Jet Blast inflator. A compressor with adequate CFM and tank capacity is sold separately.

Receiving

Combined shipping weight is 1,120 lb across the two machines. Plan help and equipment to move both from the delivery point to their final spots; no assembly is performed at delivery.

Shipping & Delivery

Freight shipping within the lower 48 states; the delivery charge for your address is shown at checkout.

You are responsible for unloading. Lifts and large machines require a forklift, tractor, or other heavy machinery; liftgate service is not available for them and the driver does not assist. If unloading isn't possible at your location, choose a warehouse pickup option where offered.

Inspect your order before signing the Bill of Lading. Note visible freight damage or shortages on the delivery receipt at delivery, and report a missing power unit or motor at delivery. Other missing or incorrect equipment must be reported within 14 days.

Warranty

Triumph equipment is covered by the manufacturer's 1 year parts warranty; labor is not covered. Support is handled by phone: we troubleshoot the issue with you, then ship the needed replacement part at no cost, with ground shipping on warranty parts covered by Garage Supply Guys.

Hydraulic cylinders carry a 30 day full warranty; after 30 days, a seal kit and instructions are provided. Rubber lifting pads are wear items and are not covered.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the largest wheel this combo handles?
The NTC-950-1 clamps up to 28 in inside or 26 in outside with a 43 in maximum tire diameter. The NTB-800 balances 10 to 28 in wheels with tires to 44 in.
Can the tire changer handle run-flat and low-profile tires?
Yes. The NTC-950-1's assist arm supports the stiff sidewalls of run-flat and low-profile tires during mounting and demounting.
Does the tire changer need an air compressor?
Yes. It requires compressed air up to 120 PSI for the bead breaker, turntable, and Jet Blast inflator. The compressor is not included.
What does automatic data entry mean on the balancer?
Traditional balancers ask for three manual measurements before each job. The NTB-800 takes one measurement input and determines the other two automatically, which speeds up every wheel and reduces operator error.
What wheel weight can the balancer take?
Up to 150 lb per wheel and tire assembly, which covers virtually all passenger car, light truck, and SUV wheels.
What electrical service do the machines need?
Both run on standard 110V power. Dedicated circuits for each machine are recommended.
