Features

14 to 56 in Clamping, Tires to 90 in

The 14-56 in clamping range covers the full spread of 22.5 in and 24.5 in commercial truck wheels and keeps going into tractor, loader, and grader sizes. Maximum tire diameter is 90 in with widths up to 42 in, so one machine services the pickup fleet and the heavy iron.

Power-Assisted Robotic Bead Breaker

Breaking beads on stiff commercial sidewalls is the hardest part of truck tire work. The robotic arm applies consistent, controlled force so the machine does the fighting, which matters when you are running tire after tire through a fleet shop.

Wireless Remote Operation

The included remote runs the machine's functions from wherever you stand. You pick the vantage point with the best view, keep both hands free to guide the tire, and stay out of the pinch zone. On oversized tires handled solo, that is a real safety and workflow difference.

No Bead Blast: Air and Press Clamp Instead

This machine has no bead blast system. Bead seating runs off the 120 PSI shop air connection and the included bead press clamp, which is the standard approach for large-format commercial and agricultural tires. If bead blast is a firm requirement, this is not the model.

220V Power, Serious Air Demand

The NTC-690 runs on 220V with a dedicated circuit recommended, and it needs 120 PSI air with enough CFM to inflate large commercial tires. A light-duty compressor will not keep up; size the air supply for truck and tractor volumes.

Best For

Commercial Truck Service
Semi trucks, delivery vehicles, and heavy commercial fleets. The 56 in clamping range covers the full spectrum of 22.5 in and 24.5 in truck wheel sizes.
Bus and Transit Maintenance
School buses, transit buses, and coach vehicles all run wheels that exceed the capacity of standard shop changers. The NTC-690 handles them without adapters or workarounds.
Agricultural Equipment
Tractor tires, combine wheels, and other farm equipment run large, stiff-sidewall tires that demand the robotic bead breaker's consistent force to service reliably.
Construction and Industrial
Loaders, graders, and excavators carry oversized tires up to 90 in in diameter. This is where the NTC-690's full capacity range comes into play.
Fleet Maintenance Operations
Bringing truck and equipment tire service in-house eliminates downtime waiting on outside shops. The NTC-690 handles the volume and variety a busy fleet operation demands.

Installation Requirements

Electrical

The NTC-690 requires 220V service on a dedicated circuit, run before the machine arrives. Have a qualified electrician make the connections.

Air Supply

Shop air needs to deliver 120 PSI with adequate CFM for inflating large commercial and industrial tires. A light-duty compressor is undersized for this class of work; spec the air system for the tire volumes you will actually run.

Floor and Positioning

Plan for a level concrete floor with secure anchoring, plus enough clear space around the machine to maneuver tires up to 90 in in diameter. The machine arrives at 2,400 lb, so you need material handling equipment to position it, and professional assembly is recommended given the size and weight. An instructional video is included.

Shipping & Delivery

Freight shipping within the lower 48 states; the delivery charge for your address is shown at checkout.

You are responsible for unloading. Lifts and large machines require a forklift, tractor, or other heavy machinery; liftgate service is not available for them and the driver does not assist. If unloading isn't possible at your location, choose a warehouse pickup option where offered.

Inspect your order before signing the Bill of Lading. Note visible freight damage or shortages on the delivery receipt at delivery, and report a missing power unit or motor at delivery. Other missing or incorrect equipment must be reported within 14 days.

Warranty

Triumph equipment is covered by the manufacturer's 1 year parts warranty; labor is not covered. Support is handled by phone: we troubleshoot the issue with you, then ship the needed replacement part at no cost, with ground shipping on warranty parts covered by Garage Supply Guys.

Hydraulic cylinders carry a 30 day full warranty; after 30 days, a seal kit and instructions are provided. Rubber lifting pads are wear items and are not covered.

Frequently Asked Questions

What tire sizes does the NTC-690 handle?
It clamps wheels from 14 to 56 in and handles tires up to 90 in in diameter and 42 in wide. That range covers semi truck, bus, tractor, and most heavy industrial equipment wheel sizes, with 120 PSI maximum inflation to seat beads on large-format commercial tires.
What electrical supply does it require?
220V, with a dedicated circuit recommended for consistent performance. Have a qualified electrician make the connections before the machine arrives. If your shop is wired for 110V only, budget time and cost for the upgrade.
Does the NTC-690 have a bead blast feature?
No. Bead seating on large commercial and agricultural tires is handled through the 120 PSI shop air connection and the included bead press clamp system. If bead blast is a firm requirement for your application, call us to discuss options.
What shop air supply does it need?
120 PSI with sufficient CFM to inflate large commercial and agricultural tires. Light-duty shop compressors are typically undersized here. Size the air supply for semi truck and tractor tire volumes, not passenger car tires.
What does the wireless remote control do?
It gives you full control of the machine's functions from a distance, so you can position yourself for the best view of the work, keep your hands free to guide the tire, and stay clear of pinch points. It is particularly valuable when changing large truck and agricultural tires solo.
