63 in Tires, 30.5 in Wheels

The NTC-650's ceiling is what separates it from passenger-car changers: 63 in maximum tire diameter and 30.5 in maximum wheel width on a 14-26 in clamping range. That reaches semi and box truck tires, wide agricultural wheels, and RV rubber a standard machine cannot clamp.

350 lb Balancer Capacity

The NTB-1200 spins wheels up to 350 lb on a 42 mm shaft, across 10-28 in wheel diameters and 1.5-20 in rim widths, with tires to 51 in. Commercial assemblies that would overload a passenger balancer are its normal workload.

±1 Gram and ±1 Degree in 8 Seconds

Each cycle takes 8 seconds and resolves weight to ±1g and position to ±1 degree, displayed in standard or metric units. On heavy truck wheels, position accuracy matters as much as the gram figure.

120 PSI Seating, No Bead Blast

The changer supplies up to 120 PSI for seating beads, which handles most truck tires. There is no bead blast system on the NTC-650; if your work regularly includes tires that need a blast to seat, weigh that before ordering.

Split Voltage

The changer requires a 220V circuit while the balancer runs on ordinary 110V. In practice that means one electrician visit for the changer, and the balancer plugs into what most shops already have.

Best For & Vehicle Compatibility

Fit depends on your vehicles and your shop. Contact us with the year, make, and model, or your shop details, and we'll confirm compatibility before you order.

Commercial Truck Service
Semi, box truck, and bus tires fall within the 63 in diameter ceiling, making this the combo for shops that see commercial truck rubber daily.
Agricultural and Construction Equipment
The 30.5 in maximum wheel width is the spec that matters here; tractor and skid steer wheels too wide for passenger changers clamp normally on the NTC-650.
RV and Motorhome Work
Large RV tires fit inside both machines' capacity, so a service center can mount and balance motorhome wheels without sending them out.

Installation Requirements

Floor and Anchoring

Level concrete rated for the equipment weight, with the tire changer bolted to the floor for stability under commercial loads.

Electrical

A dedicated 220V circuit for the changer, installed by a licensed electrician, and a standard 110V outlet for the balancer.

Compressed Air

The changer needs a shop compressor capable of delivering adequate flow at 120 PSI, connected through a standard shop air line.

Receiving and Assembly

The machines arrive palletized at 2,140 lb combined, and final assembly is the buyer's job. Have a forklift or pallet jack ready; the tire changer alone is 1,420 lb.

Shipping & Delivery

Freight shipping within the lower 48 states; the delivery charge for your address is shown at checkout.

You are responsible for unloading. Lifts and large machines require a forklift, tractor, or other heavy machinery; liftgate service is not available for them and the driver does not assist. If unloading isn't possible at your location, choose a warehouse pickup option where offered.

Inspect your order before signing the Bill of Lading. Note visible freight damage or shortages on the delivery receipt at delivery, and report a missing power unit or motor at delivery. Other missing or incorrect equipment must be reported within 14 days.

Warranty

Triumph equipment is covered by the manufacturer's 1 year parts warranty; labor is not covered. Support is handled by phone: we troubleshoot the issue with you, then ship the needed replacement part at no cost, with ground shipping on warranty parts covered by Garage Supply Guys.

Hydraulic cylinders carry a 30 day full warranty; after 30 days, a seal kit and instructions are provided. Rubber lifting pads are wear items and are not covered.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the largest tire the NTC-650 takes?
63 in diameter and 30.5 in wheel width on a 14-26 in clamping range. That is commercial truck, agricultural, and RV territory.
How heavy a wheel can the NTB-1200 balance?
350 lb on a 42 mm shaft, across 10-28 in wheel diameters and 1.5-20 in rim widths, with tires up to 51 in.
Does the tire changer have bead blast?
No. The NTC-650 seats beads with up to 120 PSI of inflation pressure but has no blast system. If bead blast is a requirement, this is the wrong model.
What electrical service do I need?
220V for the changer, which usually means an electrician installs a dedicated circuit, and standard 110V for the balancer.
What do I need to unload and place the equipment?
A forklift or pallet jack, and equipment rated for the 1,420 lb tire changer. The freight driver does not move machines inside or assemble anything.
