Touch the Ruler, Skip the Typing

Manual balancers need three inputs per wheel. On the NTB-800 you enter rim width, touch the distance ruler to the mounted wheel, and the machine captures diameter and distance itself. Over a day of wheels that is real time back, and it removes the most common source of balancing errors: mistyped measurements.

Foot Pedal Brake for Weight Placement

A foot pedal locks the wheel so it holds still exactly where the display told you to hang the weight. No steadying the tire with one hand while sticking a weight with the other, and no waiting for the spin to die out.

10-28 in Wheels, Up to 150 lb

Capacity spans 10-28 in wheel diameters, 1.5-20 in rim widths, tires to 44 in, and assemblies to 150 lb on a 36 mm shaft. That is compact-car through light-truck territory covered by one machine.

6-9 Second Cycles at ±1 Gram

Each spin resolves in 6-9 seconds with ±1g accuracy, readable in standard or metric units. Fast enough that the balancer is never the bottleneck in a tire job.

House-Current Power

The 1/4 HP motor runs on 110V, so the balancer plugs into an ordinary outlet, with a dedicated circuit recommended. No panel work stands between delivery and the first balanced wheel.

Installation Requirements

Floor and Space

A level concrete floor is recommended. The assembled footprint is 28 x 48 in at 62 in tall; leave clearance around it for mounting wheels and applying weights.

Electrical

110V standard outlet with a dedicated circuit recommended. No air supply is needed.

First Use

Final assembly is on you, since the freight driver does not assemble equipment, and the balancer should be calibrated per the manual before the first customer wheel.

Shipping & Delivery

Freight shipping within the lower 48 states; the delivery charge for your address is shown at checkout.

You are responsible for unloading. Lifts and large machines require a forklift, tractor, or other heavy machinery; liftgate service is not available for them and the driver does not assist. If unloading isn't possible at your location, choose a warehouse pickup option where offered.

Inspect your order before signing the Bill of Lading. Note visible freight damage or shortages on the delivery receipt at delivery, and report a missing power unit or motor at delivery. Other missing or incorrect equipment must be reported within 14 days.

Warranty

Triumph equipment is covered by the manufacturer's 1 year parts warranty; labor is not covered. Support is handled by phone: we troubleshoot the issue with you, then ship the needed replacement part at no cost, with ground shipping on warranty parts covered by Garage Supply Guys.

Hydraulic cylinders carry a 30 day full warranty; after 30 days, a seal kit and instructions are provided. Rubber lifting pads are wear items and are not covered.

Frequently Asked Questions

How does the automatic data entry actually work?
You enter rim width by hand. Touching the distance ruler to the mounted wheel captures rim diameter and distance automatically, so two of the three required parameters never get typed.
What is the difference between the NTB-800 and the NTB-550?
The NTB-550 requires manual entry of all three measurements and lacks the foot pedal wheel brake. The NTB-800 automates two of the three inputs and adds the brake, which makes it the faster machine wheel after wheel.
What wheel sizes will it take?
10-28 in diameters, 1.5-20 in rim widths, tires up to 44 in, and wheels up to 150 lb. Most passenger car, SUV, and light truck wheels fall inside that.
What power does it need?
Standard 110V feeding a 1/4 HP motor. A dedicated circuit is recommended; no compressor or air line is involved.
What does the foot pedal do?
It brakes the wheel so it stays put while you place weights, instead of holding it by hand or waiting for it to coast to a stop.
