350 lb Wheels on a 42 mm Shaft

Rim capacity runs 10 to 28 in with rim widths from 1.5 to 20 in, a 51 in maximum tire diameter, and a 350 lb maximum wheel weight. The 42 mm shaft carries heavy commercial assemblies that would overload a passenger-only balancer, while still mounting small car wheels.

Automatic Distance and Diameter Measuring

The machine measures its distance to the wheel and the wheel diameter itself; only rim width is entered manually. Across a day of mixed truck and passenger wheels, that is less typing between spins and fewer data entry mistakes showing up as chased weights.

8 Second Cycle

Each balance measurement completes in 8 seconds. On multi-wheel truck jobs where every position gets balanced, the short cycle keeps the machine from becoming the bottleneck in the bay.

Two Accuracy Modes

A plus or minus 1 gram mode handles passenger vehicle balancing, and a plus or minus 10 gram mode suits heavy duty wheels where ultra-fine readings are not the goal. Matching the mode to the wheel avoids hunting for weights that do not matter on a 350 lb assembly.

Standard or Metric Display

Readouts switch between standard and metric units. Useful when manufacturer specifications for imported trucks or equipment are published metric and the rest of your shop thinks in inches and ounces.

Protective Wheel Cover Included

The included cover shields the operator and surrounding area during the spin cycle. At truck wheel weights, a thrown clip-on weight carries real energy, so the guard is not a formality.

Best For

Commercial Truck Service Centers
The 28 in rim capacity and 350 lb weight limit cover medium and heavy duty truck, box truck, and commercial vehicle wheels that passenger balancers refuse.
Full-Service Tire Shops
One machine handles the truck wheel customers and the everyday passenger work, so you are not buying and housing separate balancers for the two sides of the counter.
Fleet Maintenance Operations
Mixed fleets of delivery vans, service trucks, and company cars all fit within the 10 to 28 in range, keeping wheel service in-house across the whole vehicle list.
RV and Motorhome Service
Large motorhome and trailer wheels fit inside the 51 in tire diameter and 350 lb weight limits, which is exactly the territory where smaller balancers run out of capacity.

Installation Requirements

Floor

Set the balancer on level concrete, and secure it to the floor: anchoring is recommended to prevent movement when spinning heavy truck wheels.

Electrical

Standard 110V outlet with a 1/3 HP motor, so no electrical modifications are required. A dedicated circuit is recommended to prevent interference from other equipment.

Space

Account for the 51 in maximum tire diameter when positioning the machine, and leave a clear path for rolling large truck wheels to and from the balancer plus operator access at the control panel.

Shipping & Delivery

Freight shipping within the lower 48 states; the delivery charge for your address is shown at checkout.

You are responsible for unloading. Lifts and large machines require a forklift, tractor, or other heavy machinery; liftgate service is not available for them and the driver does not assist. If unloading isn't possible at your location, choose a warehouse pickup option where offered.

Inspect your order before signing the Bill of Lading. Note visible freight damage or shortages on the delivery receipt at delivery, and report a missing power unit or motor at delivery. Other missing or incorrect equipment must be reported within 14 days.

Warranty

Triumph equipment is covered by the manufacturer's 1 year parts warranty; labor is not covered. Support is handled by phone: we troubleshoot the issue with you, then ship the needed replacement part at no cost, with ground shipping on warranty parts covered by Garage Supply Guys.

Hydraulic cylinders carry a 30 day full warranty; after 30 days, a seal kit and instructions are provided. Rubber lifting pads are wear items and are not covered.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the largest wheel the NTB-1200 can balance?
Wheels up to 28 in rim diameter with a maximum tire diameter of 51 in, rim widths from 1.5 to 20 in, and a maximum wheel weight of 350 lb. That takes in most commercial truck, large SUV, and RV wheels.
Can I use it for regular passenger car wheels?
Yes. It handles rims down to 10 in, and the plus or minus 1 gram mode gives passenger-grade precision. The heavy duty capacity means one machine serves both car and truck customers.
What does automatic distance and diameter measuring mean?
The balancer measures the distance from the machine to the wheel and the wheel diameter automatically. You still enter rim width manually. It removes two of the three setup inputs and the errors that come with them.
What power supply does it need?
Standard 110V with a 1/3 HP motor. A normal shop outlet works; a dedicated circuit is recommended so other equipment does not interfere with readings.
How accurate is the NTB-1200?
Two modes: plus or minus 1 gram for precision passenger balancing, and plus or minus 10 grams for heavy duty wheels where ultra-fine readings are less critical. Cycle time is 8 seconds in either mode.
Does it come with cones and adapters?
A standard cone set for wheel mounting is included. Unusual wheel configurations may need additional adapters, which are purchased separately, so check your fleet's wheel types before ordering.
