Floor Plate Instead of an Overhead Bar

Cables and hydraulic hoses route beneath protective floor plates, which drops the overall height to 111 in. That is what makes the NT-9 viable in residential garages and older commercial buildings where an overhead-style lift will not clear the ceiling, and it keeps the lines themselves out of harm's way.

Three-Stage Front Arms

The telescoping three-stage front arms give enough reach range to put pads on manufacturer lift points across narrow-wheelbase compacts and wide full-size trucks without compromising vehicle position between the posts.

Dual-Point Lock Release

Lowering requires releasing the locks at both columns, so one bumped handle cannot start a descent. When you spend time under raised vehicles, that second required action is worth having.

Truck Adapters in the Crate

Stackable truck adapters are included rather than sold separately. They add the pad height needed to reach frame lift points on pickups and body-on-frame SUVs with taller ground clearance.

72 in of Rise from a 4.5 in Pad Height

The arms start at 4.5 in to slide under lower cars and rise 72 in to a comfortable standing work height. The 96 in drive-thru width at tire level and 106 in between posts at mirror height leave room for wide vehicles.

3 HP Motor on 220V Single-Phase

The 3 HP power unit runs on 220V single-phase, the same service class as an electric dryer, so most garages can support it without commercial power. Full rise takes about 40 seconds.

Installation Requirements

Concrete and Floor

The NT-9 anchors to a level, crack-free concrete slab with a minimum strength of 3,000 PSI and at least 4 in of thickness. Each base plate measures 19 x 17 in, and the lift spans 132 in overall width. New pours should cure at least 28 days before installation.

Electrical

Plan for 220V single-phase service to run the 3 HP motor, with a dedicated circuit recommended. If your garage only has 110V today, budget for an electrician before the lift arrives.

Ceiling Height

The lift itself needs 111 in of clearance. A 12 ft or taller ceiling is recommended so raised vehicles have working clearance underneath.

Installation Notes

Floor mounting hardware ships with the lift. Professional installation is recommended for correct anchoring and column alignment, and it is worth checking local permit requirements before the install.

Shipping & Delivery

Freight shipping within the lower 48 states; the delivery charge for your address is shown at checkout.

You are responsible for unloading. Lifts and large machines require a forklift, tractor, or other heavy machinery; liftgate service is not available for them and the driver does not assist. If unloading isn't possible at your location, choose a warehouse pickup option where offered.

Inspect your order before signing the Bill of Lading. Note visible freight damage or shortages on the delivery receipt at delivery, and report a missing power unit or motor at delivery. Other missing or incorrect equipment must be reported within 14 days.

Warranty

Triumph equipment is covered by the manufacturer's 1 year parts warranty; labor is not covered. Support is handled by phone: we troubleshoot the issue with you, then ship the needed replacement part at no cost, with ground shipping on warranty parts covered by Garage Supply Guys.

Hydraulic cylinders carry a 30 day full warranty; after 30 days, a seal kit and instructions are provided. Rubber lifting pads are wear items and are not covered.

Frequently Asked Questions

Will the NT-9 fit under a 10-foot ceiling?
In most cases, yes. The overall height is 111 in (9 ft 3 in), which leaves about 9 in of clearance under a 10 ft ceiling. Also account for your tallest vehicle when raised: the lift provides 72 in of rise from a 4.5 in pad height, so measure ceiling and vehicle together before ordering.
What vehicles can the NT-9 lift?
The 9,000 lb capacity covers sedans, coupes, crossovers, SUVs, and full-size pickups. Drive-thru width is 96 in at tire level with 106 in between posts at mirror height, and the included truck adapters extend reach for body-on-frame vehicles with higher ground clearance.
What power does the NT-9 require?
220V single-phase for the 3 HP motor. That is the same voltage class as an electric dryer or water heater, so most residential garages can accommodate it. A dedicated circuit is recommended; have a licensed electrician add 220V service if you do not have it.
What are the concrete requirements?
A minimum of 3,000 PSI concrete at least 4 in thick, level and free of significant cracks where the 19 x 17 in base plates anchor. If you are pouring new concrete, let it cure at least 28 days before installing the lift.
Is the NT-9 symmetric or asymmetric?
Symmetric. Both columns and arm assemblies are identical and the vehicle centers between the posts, which gives balanced lifting for trucks and SUVs and suits general service and home garage use.
How do I unload the lift on delivery?
You need machinery capable of lifting the 1,303 lb shipping weight: a forklift, bobcat, tractor with loader, tow truck, or backhoe. The driver does not assist, and an auto lift cannot be unloaded by hand.
