Triumph NSS-8 Four Post Lift - 8,000 lb Storage and Service Lift

Most home garage lifts force a choice: storage or service. The Triumph NSS-8 gives you both. This 8,000 lb four post lift stores a vehicle above while you work on another below, and the included jack tray means you can actually perform brake jobs, suspension work, and tire rotations on the raised car too. It's a genuine dual-purpose machine, not a storage shelf that you occasionally use as a work platform.

What sets the NSS-8 apart from permanently anchored lifts is portability. The included caster kit lets you reposition it around the garage without jackhammers or bolt extraction. No concrete anchoring required, no permits, no permanent commitment. Roll it into position, lock the casters, plug into a standard 110V outlet, and you're raising a vehicle in 40 seconds. That's it.

The 10-position automatic safety lock system engages as you raise the vehicle, so there's no separate step to set a lock. Single-point release lowers smoothly when you're ready. The design behind this lift has been proving itself for over 20 years, and the 8,000 lb capacity handles most passenger cars, light trucks, and SUVs with room to spare.

Footprint: 106 in wide x 195 in long with approach ramps installed. Measure your bay before ordering.

Ceiling: The lift stands 84 in tall. Figure in the height of the raised vehicle on top for realistic ceiling clearance. 10 ft or higher is recommended for comfortable working access to the vehicle stored above.

Assembly: Requires basic hand tools and a helper. Allow several hours for complete assembly.

Applications

Vehicle Storage

Store two vehicles in a single-bay garage. Park one on the lift, keep your daily driver underneath. The 8,000 lb capacity covers most cars, light trucks, and SUVs.

Classic Car Collections

The three included drip trays catch any fluid drips from above, protecting whatever's parked underneath. Keep your prized car clean while storing a second vehicle on top.

DIY Service Work

The 69 in of clearance under the raised runways and the included jack tray make real service work possible - brakes, suspension, tires - not just storage.

Flexible Home Garages

The caster kit lets you roll the lift out of the way when you need full floor access. No anchored lift gives you that option. Reconfigure your space without any tools.

Shipping & Delivery

Free LTL Freight - Lower 48 States. Your lift ships free via LTL common carrier. Delivery arrives on a 48-foot semi truck. Transit typically takes 3 to 14 days depending on your location. You'll receive carrier info and a tracking number by email when the lift ships.

Unloading is your responsibility. The driver does not unload. Liftgate service is not available for auto lifts. You'll need a forklift, Bobcat, tractor, tow truck, or backhoe rated to handle the 1,600 lb shipping weight. If you can't unload from a truck, we can route the shipment to the carrier's nearest freight terminal for pickup with a trailer or moving van.

Scheduling your delivery. You're responsible for calling the freight company to set a delivery appointment. Coordinate directly with the carrier at the number provided in your shipping confirmation.

Exclusions. Free shipping does not apply to government secure locations, state and national parks, construction sites, islands, Alaska, or Hawaii. Contact us for a quote to these locations.

Need a specific delivery window or have questions about your delivery setup? Call us before ordering so we can sort out the details.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the lifting capacity of the Triumph NSS-8?

The NSS-8 is rated for 8,000 lb. That covers most passenger cars, light trucks, and SUVs. If you're working with a heavier vehicle, check the curb weight against that rating before ordering.

Does this lift need to be bolted to the floor?

No anchoring required. The NSS-8 is designed as a portable lift - the included caster kit lets you move and reposition it without any permanent floor modifications. Lock the casters during operation for stable lifting.

What electrical supply does the NSS-8 need?

Standard 110V household power. No 220V upgrade, no electrician, no panel work. A dedicated circuit is recommended for best performance, but this is standard residential voltage that's already in most home garages.

How much ceiling height do I need?

The lift itself stands 84 in tall. You'll need to add the height of the vehicle sitting on the raised runways to that figure. 10 ft or higher is recommended so you have comfortable access to the vehicle stored above - a 7-foot ceiling will technically fit the lift frame but leaves very little headroom above a raised car.

Can I do actual service work on this lift, or is it just for storage?

Both. The runways raise to 72 in, leaving 69 in of clearance underneath. The included jack tray lets you position a bottle jack or floor jack under one end of the raised vehicle for brake jobs, suspension work, and tire rotations. It's not just a parking shelf.

What is the drive-thru width and runway span?

The drive-thru width is 93 in. Runways are 18 in wide with 37 in between them, and 165 in long. Overall lift width is 106 in. Measure your vehicle's track width and overall length against those numbers before ordering.

How do I unload the lift when it arrives?

The lift ships at 1,600 lb. The truck driver does not unload it, and liftgate service is not available for auto lifts. You need equipment capable of handling that weight - a forklift, Bobcat, tractor, tow truck, or backhoe. If you can't unload from a truck at your location, contact us and we'll arrange terminal pickup instead.

How long does assembly take and what tools do I need?

Basic hand tools are all that's required. Plan for several hours and have a helper available - this isn't a one-person job. The design is straightforward, and the included manual walks through the full process.

What does the warranty cover and how do I make a claim?

The NSS-8 carries a 1-year parts warranty with free replacement parts and free ground shipping on covered items. Cylinders have a 30-day full warranty; after that, a seal kit is provided for repairs. Rubber lifting pads are excluded. Labor is not covered. To make a claim, call us to troubleshoot and we'll ship the replacement part.

How long does it take to raise a vehicle?

The NSS-8 raises from ground to full height in approximately 40 seconds. The 10 automatic locking positions engage as you go up, so the lift is secured at whatever height you stop at without any separate locking step.
