Jack Tray Turns Storage Into Service

The included jack tray gives a bottle jack or floor jack a solid base under the raised vehicle, which covers brake jobs, tire rotations, and suspension work at height. With 69 in of clearance under the runways, you are working upright, not crawling.

Caster Kit, No Anchor Bolts

The NSS-8 sits on 12 x 12 in base plates and never gets bolted down. Fit the caster kit, roll the lift out of the way when you need the whole floor, and lock the casters before lifting. An anchored lift can never give the bay back.

Ten Locks That Set Themselves

The safety locks engage automatically as the runways rise through ten positions, so the lift is already secured wherever you stop. Lowering releases from a single point instead of a walk around each column.

Runs on a Wall Outlet

The power unit is 110V, so the lift plugs into standard residential wiring with no 220V circuit and no electrician. A dedicated circuit is recommended. A full rise takes 40 seconds.

Drip Trays Protect the Car Below

Three included drip trays sit between the runways and catch whatever the top vehicle sheds before it reaches the paint below. For anyone storing a clean car under a daily driver, this is the detail that matters most.

Sized for Real Vehicles

Runways are 18 in wide, 165 in long, and set 37 in apart, with 93 in of drive-thru width. The 8,000 lb rating covers most passenger cars, light trucks, and SUVs. Check curb weight and track width against those numbers before ordering.

Best For

Two Cars, One Bay
Park one vehicle on the runways and the daily driver underneath. A single-bay garage effectively becomes a two-car garage without construction.
Collector Storage
The three drip trays keep fluids off whatever sits below, which is the difference between confidently stacking a project car over a prized one and doing it under a tarp.

Installation Requirements

Floor and Footprint

Level concrete is recommended, and no anchoring is required. The footprint is 106 in wide by 195 in long with the approach ramps installed, so measure the bay before ordering.

Ceiling Height

The lift structure stands 84 in tall, and the vehicle stored on top adds its own height above that. A 10 ft or taller ceiling is recommended for comfortable access to the upper vehicle.

Electrical

Standard 110V household power with a dedicated circuit recommended. No 220V work needed.

Assembly

Basic hand tools, a helper, and several hours. The included manual covers the sequence.

Unloading

The lift ships at 1,600 lb and the freight driver does not unload it. Liftgate service is not available for auto lifts, so plan on a forklift, tractor, tow truck, backhoe, or similar equipment rated for the weight.

Shipping & Delivery

Freight shipping within the lower 48 states; the delivery charge for your address is shown at checkout.

You are responsible for unloading. Lifts and large machines require a forklift, tractor, or other heavy machinery; liftgate service is not available for them and the driver does not assist. If unloading isn't possible at your location, choose a warehouse pickup option where offered.

Inspect your order before signing the Bill of Lading. Note visible freight damage or shortages on the delivery receipt at delivery, and report a missing power unit or motor at delivery. Other missing or incorrect equipment must be reported within 14 days.

Warranty

Triumph equipment is covered by the manufacturer's 1 year parts warranty; labor is not covered. Support is handled by phone: we troubleshoot the issue with you, then ship the needed replacement part at no cost, with ground shipping on warranty parts covered by Garage Supply Guys.

Hydraulic cylinders carry a 30 day full warranty; after 30 days, a seal kit and instructions are provided. Rubber lifting pads are wear items and are not covered.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does the NSS-8 need to be bolted to the floor?
No. It is designed as a portable lift; the caster kit moves it and the locked casters keep it planted during lifting. No anchors, no floor drilling.
How much ceiling height do I need?
The lift stands 84 in tall, and you add the height of the vehicle parked on the runways. A 7 ft ceiling technically clears the frame but leaves almost nothing above a raised car; 10 ft or more is recommended.
Can I do real service work on it, or is it storage only?
Both. The runways rise to 72 in with 69 in of clearance underneath, and the included jack tray gives a jack a base under the raised vehicle for brakes, suspension, and tire rotations.
Will my vehicle fit between the runways?
Drive-thru width is 93 in. The runways are 18 in wide, 165 in long, and 37 in apart, and the lift is 106 in wide overall. Check your vehicle's track width and length against those numbers.
What power does it need?
A standard 110V outlet. A dedicated circuit is recommended, but there is no 220V requirement and no electrician involved.
How do I unload it at delivery?
It arrives at 1,600 lb and the driver does not unload. You need a forklift, Bobcat, tractor, tow truck, or backhoe rated for the weight; liftgate service is not available for auto lifts.
