The Triumph NJS-1500 is a 1,500 lb under hoist jack stand: the third hand that holds a transmission, differential, or exhaust assembly while the vehicle sits on your two post or four post lift. Set it under the component, run it up to contact, and both of your hands go back to the actual job.
The screw-type mechanism adjusts anywhere from 54 to 80 in, so you dial in exact contact height instead of settling for the nearest ratchet notch. A foot pedal handles release and repositioning without bending down or letting go of the part, and the padded contact plate keeps painted and machined surfaces unmarked. At 38 lb, one person moves it around the shop.
The one measurement to check before ordering: you need at least 54 in of clearance under the vehicle for the stand at its lowest setting.
