Stratus SAE-F14X Extra Wide Floor Plate Two-Post Lift - 14,000 lb Capacity
Most shops run into the same problem with two-post lifts: the clearance just isn't there when you're working on wider trucks, diesels, and full-size SUVs. The Stratus SAE-F14X is built for exactly that situation. The extra-wide floor plate design gives you the column-to-column clearance you need to position vehicles confidently, without wrestling them into a narrow footprint every time they roll in.
At 14,000 lbs of rated capacity, this lift handles the heavy end of your bay without breaking a sweat. It's tested at 115% of rated load dynamically and 150% statically, so the capacity rating isn't a marketing ceiling - it's a verified working number. Single point manual release means you control the descent directly, with no secondary catch mechanisms to work around.
The SAE-F14X ships in a powder-coated Granite Gray (RAL 7026) and Reinorange (RAL 2004) finish - a durable combination that holds up under the daily abuse of a working shop. It's a serious piece of equipment for shops that need a lift that can take whatever they throw at it, day in and day out. Questions before you buy? What's Included
- 4 screw-up rubber pads - Peg 60mm (2 5/16")

Optional accessories available separately: cradle pads (Peg 60mm) and tripod jack stand.
Installation & Setup
The SAE-F14X requires a dedicated 220V, single-phase electrical circuit with a 30A breaker. If your shop isn't already wired for 220V, factor that into your install timeline - it's a straightforward addition for any licensed electrician, but it needs to be confirmed before the lift arrives.
Concrete is the other critical requirement. You need a minimum of 6" slab at 3,000 PSI. Thinner or lower-strength concrete puts the anchor system and the lift's structural integrity at risk, so have your slab verified before anchoring. If you're pouring new concrete, give it full cure time before installation.
This lift ships freight at 2,202 lbs. Plan your receiving situation in advance - the freight carrier allows 30 minutes for unloading, and you're responsible for getting it off the truck. A forklift or pallet jack on-site makes that significantly easier.
Applications
14,000 lbs of capacity covers the full range of passenger vehicles, light trucks, and heavy SUVs. One lift handles the full variety of what rolls through a general repair bay.
The extra-wide floor plate and 116 1/8" drive-thru clearance make this a strong fit for shops servicing diesel trucks, dually pickups, and commercial fleet vehicles that don't fit a standard-width lift.
The open-top design and full arm reach - up to 70 7/8" front and rear - give you the access you need for transmission drops, differential service, and exhaust work without fighting the lift's geometry.
A 55-second rise time keeps the workflow moving. Shorter cycle times between vehicles add up quickly across a full day's ticket count.

Frequently Asked Questions
What electrical supply does the SAE-F14X require?
The SAE-F14X runs on a 220V, single-phase circuit and requires a dedicated 30A breaker. If your shop is currently wired only for 110V, you'll need a licensed electrician to add a 220V circuit before the lift can be commissioned.
What are the concrete requirements for installation?
You need a minimum 6" concrete slab at 3,000 PSI. Thinner or lower-strength concrete is not adequate for anchoring a two-post lift at this capacity. If you're unsure about your current slab, have it evaluated before scheduling installation.
What is the inside column span, and will it fit wider trucks?
The inside column span is 129 15/16" (3,300 mm), with a drive-thru width of 116 1/8" (2,949 mm). That clearance is well-suited for full-size pickups, dually trucks, and wide-body SUVs that won't fit a standard-width two-post lift. Confirm your widest vehicle's track width against the drive-thru measurement before ordering.
How does freight delivery work, and what should I expect on delivery day?
The SAE-F14X ships LTL freight at 2,202 lbs. You're responsible for unloading the lift from the truck - freight carriers allow 30 minutes, and additional time is billed to the customer. Having a forklift or pallet jack available at your shop makes receiving significantly easier. Delivery to a commercial address ships free; a residential address carries an additional fee. Certain states (OR, WA, ID, MT, ND, SD, ME) carry a surcharge - contact us before ordering if you're in one of those states.
What adapters and pads come with the lift?
The SAE-F14X includes four screw-up rubber pads and four truck adapters, all on Peg 60mm (2 5/16") fitment. Optional cradle pads and a tripod jack stand are available as separate accessories if your workflow requires them.
What is the maximum lifting height with adapters installed?
With adapters installed, the SAE-F14X reaches a maximum height of 78 13/16" (2,002 mm). Without adapters, max height is 74 13/16" (1,900 mm). That gives you plenty of working clearance for undercarriage access on taller trucks and SUVs.
What warranty coverage does the SAE-F14X carry?
Stratus covers structural components for 5 years, hydraulic components for 3 years, and electrical parts for 2 years from the original purchase date. The warranty applies to the original purchaser only and is not transferable. Warranty registration may be required - refer to the included documentation for full terms.
How is the capacity rating verified?
The SAE-F14X is proofed by dynamic testing at 115% of rated capacity and static testing at 150% of rated capacity. The 14,000 lb rating is a confirmed working figure, not a theoretical maximum.
