Installation & Setup
The F12X runs on 220V single-phase power and requires a dedicated 30A breaker. If your shop is still on 110V drops for service bays, you'll need an electrician to run the right circuit before install day. Don't skip this step - running undersized power to a 4 HP motor is how you get nuisance trips and premature wear on the contactor.
Concrete requirements are firm: minimum 6" thick slab at 3,000 PSI. Thinner slabs or older poured concrete that hasn't been tested should be assessed before you commit to anchor placement. The floor plate design distributes the load well, but the slab still has to be up to spec. If you're pouring new concrete for a bay build-out, this is the time to go thicker.
The lift ships at 1,980 lbs on a freight pallet. You'll need equipment on site to offload - freight companies allow 30 minutes for unloading, and anything beyond that is billed to you. Plan for a forklift or pallet jack capable of handling the weight before the truck arrives.
