Installation & Setup
This is a permanent, anchored install, not a portable unit. Before the lift ships, get your slab sorted. Stratus calls for concrete a minimum of 200 mm (7 7/8") thick, free of reinforcing bar in the anchor zone, fully cured and dry, with a minimum test strength of 3,500 PSI. The floor needs to be level with no cracks or holes in the mounting area. Anchor bolts seat at least 150 mm into the slab.
Power is a 220V, single-phase, 60 Hz circuit on a 30A breaker, and it must be wired in by a certified electrician. The hydraulic reservoir takes AW32 or AW46 oil. Run NO. 46 when your shop averages above 18°C and NO. 32 when it runs colder, since oil viscosity sets your rise speed. Plan to bleed the cylinders and cycle the lift several times during commissioning to bring it to full height.
