The Rotary R146R and R146RA tire changers are high-performance machines designed for high-volume tire centers. These machines are built to handle the toughest tire changes, including challenging 19.5" tires. The reinforced frame ensures greater rigidity to the structure and the chucking table, allowing for smooth and efficient operation. The gearbox, strategically positioned between two steel plates, minimizes flex and ensures stability during use. The extended height of the vertical post and tool shaft allows for easy handling of tires with a maximum width of 15" (381 mm), making these tire changers versatile and capable for a wide range of applications.

R146 Features

Pneumatic Wheel Lift

Our pneumatic feature lifts tires from the ground to tabletop level, reducing strain on the operator's back while lowering the risk of wheel damage. Many competitor units offer this feature as an option, but with Rotary, it's included as standard.

Double-Acting Bead Breaker

The hand control is built into the bead breaker handle. This feature gives more operator control, reducing the chance of rim damage. It is also more ergonomic than a pedal-controlled bead breaker, placing less strain on the operator.

Pneumatic Bead Assist

Our pneumatic bead assist maintains a centered bead, while our bead roller assists with inserting mount/demount heads and levers. These features make changing difficult tires that much easier. Similar tire changers on the market don't feature lower bead rollers like Rotary's.

Two Standard Mounting Heads

This unit comes standard with both metal and plastic mounting heads. The metal head provides rigidity on stiff walls, while the plastic head provides wheel protection for inexperienced operators. Bead mounting rollers assist in mounting low-profile tires. Multiple heads and bead mounting rollers give operators more options to service a broader range of assemblies and offer better control when mounting tires.

Outside Clamping Flexibility

Change most 10"-26" tire and rim assemblies on the market without any additional accessories or adapters.
