Features

Leverless Center Post Design

The hook head and pressing wheel travel synchronously on the integrated central column, mounting and demounting without a pry bar touching the rim. A left helper arm and tire lifter round out the wheel handling.

Hydraulic Instead of Pneumatic Control

The hydraulic system holds position and pressure without rebound, and a hand control valve places the hook head precisely. It also shuts off automatically when operation stops and restarts on resume.

6,614 lb Bead Breaker

At 10 bar the bead breaker develops 6,614 lb of force under precise hand control, which handles run-flat and low-profile sidewalls without chewing the rim edge.

2D Automatic Data Entry

The FWB-8823 measures rim parameters itself using a linear grating scale; lowering the guard starts the cycle. No manual inputs on standard wheels.

Laser-Guided Weight Placement

A laser marks the exact weight location, and smart balance-point positioning rotates the wheel there and locks it at one button press. A built-in LED fill light keeps the inner barrel visible in a dim bay.

Self-Calibrating to ±1 Gram

The balancer self-calibrates to hold ±1g precision and offers multiple balance modes for different rim types, on wheels up to 165 lb.

Installation Requirements

Electrical

The tire changer needs 220V/60Hz single-phase service with a 25A fuse and proper grounding; the balancer runs on 110V single-phase.

Compressed Air

The changer operates on 116-145 PSI shop air. Keep the oil mist device topped up with ISO VG32 oil as part of routine air-system maintenance.

Placement

Both machines go on a flat, level floor in a well-lit area, clear of oil, grease, and foot traffic, and never in an area with explosive gases.

Shipping & Delivery

Freight shipping within the lower 48 states; your delivery charge is shown at checkout, and terminal delivery to your carrier's local terminal is available as a checkout option.

You are responsible for unloading; a forklift or similar equipment is required, and a loading dock or liftgate may be required depending on the product. Check the delivery options on the product page before ordering.

Inspect your order before signing. Note concealed and visible damage or shortages on the Bill of Lading or delivery receipt at delivery.

Warranty

Fortisky lifts carry a 3 year structural warranty covering arms, columns, carriages, legs, overhead beams, tracks, cross rails, top rail beams, swivel pins, and uprights, and a 2 year limited warranty overall for the original purchaser. After the first 30 days, cylinder issues are resolved with a seal kit and installation instructions.

Wheel service equipment carries a 1 year warranty on all operating components.

Wear and maintenance items such as cables, chains, slider blocks, rubber pads, and pulleys are excluded, along with on-site labor and damage from improper installation, operation, or maintenance. Missing lift parts must be reported within 72 hours. Freight damage is not a warranty issue; document it at delivery.

Frequently Asked Questions

What wheel sizes does this combo cover?
The changer handles 10-28 in rims and tires to 47 in diameter; the balancer takes up to 30 in rims up to 165 lb. Together that spans passenger cars and light trucks.
How does the leverless design protect wheels?
No pry bar contacts the rim. The hook head and pressing wheel move together under hydraulic control that holds steady pressure without the rebound that scratches finishes.
What does the laser on the balancer do?
It pinpoints where the weight goes. Combined with auto-rotation to the balance point and one-button locking, weight placement stops being a hunt.
What electrical service do I need?
220V single-phase for the tire changer and 110V for the balancer, both properly grounded. The changer circuit needs a 25A fuse.
Do I need an air compressor?
Yes, for the changer: a 116-145 PSI supply. The balancer is electric only.
