Leverless Center Post Design

Mounting and demounting happen with a hook head and pressing wheel instead of a pry bar, so no metal contacts the rim face. For alloy and custom wheels this removes the main way a tire machine damages what it is servicing.

Synchronized Hook Head and Pressing Wheel

Both tools ride the integrated center column and move together on a single plane. Removal and installation stay coordinated instead of one hand chasing the other around the wheel.

Hydraulic Main Functions at 9 to 10 MPa

Primary movements are hydraulic rather than pneumatic, running at 9 to 10 MPa. Hydraulics hold position under load, so the head goes where you set it and stays there against a stiff sidewall.

6,614 lb Hand-Controlled Bead Breaker

Bead breaking is manually controlled for placement and delivers 6,614 lb of force, enough for run-flat and low-profile beads. You steer where the force goes; the machine supplies it.

Tire Lift for Heavy Assemblies

A lifting system raises heavy tire and wheel assemblies to the turntable, so nobody is dead-lifting truck wheels all shift. Simple, stable, and it matters by the end of a busy day.

Balancer: Dynamic, Static, and ALU Modes at ±1g

The FWB-70B balances steel and alloy wheels to ±1g across dynamic, static, and ALU programs. Capacity is 10 to 24 in rims and assemblies to 143 lb, which covers cars, SUVs, and light trucks.

Electronic Brake, Auto-Start, Self-Calibration

Lower the guard and the balancer starts on its own; after the spin the electronic brake holds the wheel at the placement position. Both machines self-calibrate, keeping accuracy a maintenance routine rather than a service call.

Installation Requirements

Electrical

The tire changer requires 220V / 60Hz single-phase with proper grounding. The balancer runs on 110V / 60Hz single-phase.

Compressed Air

The tire changer needs 116 to 145 PSI (8 to 10 bar) shop air for bead breaking and inflation.

Space

The changer's footprint is 58 x 41 in. Install both machines on a flat, level floor in a well-lit area, kept clear of oil, grease, debris, and bystanders.

Shipping & Delivery

Freight shipping within the lower 48 states; your delivery charge is shown at checkout, and terminal delivery to your carrier's local terminal is available as a checkout option.

You are responsible for unloading; a forklift or similar equipment is required, and a loading dock or liftgate may be required depending on the product. Check the delivery options on the product page before ordering.

Inspect your order before signing. Note concealed and visible damage or shortages on the Bill of Lading or delivery receipt at delivery.

Warranty

Fortisky lifts carry a 3 year structural warranty covering arms, columns, carriages, legs, overhead beams, tracks, cross rails, top rail beams, swivel pins, and uprights, and a 2 year limited warranty overall for the original purchaser. After the first 30 days, cylinder issues are resolved with a seal kit and installation instructions.

Wheel service equipment carries a 1 year warranty on all operating components.

Wear and maintenance items such as cables, chains, slider blocks, rubber pads, and pulleys are excluded, along with on-site labor and damage from improper installation, operation, or maintenance. Missing lift parts must be reported within 72 hours. Freight damage is not a warranty issue; document it at delivery.

Frequently Asked Questions

What size wheels can this combo handle?
The tire changer takes 10 to 28 in rims and tires up to 47 in diameter. The balancer takes 10 to 24 in rims and assemblies up to 143 lb. Together that covers passenger cars, SUVs, and light trucks.
What is the advantage of the leverless design?
No metal pry bar ever contacts the rim. The hook head and pressing wheel mount and demount tires without scratching alloy or custom wheels, which is the point of paying for a center post machine.
Is the tire changer hydraulic or pneumatic?
Main functions are hydraulic at 9 to 10 MPa, which is more stable and precise than full pneumatic drive. Compressed air is used for bead breaking and inflation.
What electrical service do I need?
The tire changer requires 220V single-phase and the balancer runs on 110V single-phase. Both need proper grounding.
Can it handle low-profile and run-flat tires?
Yes. The synchronized hook head and pressing wheel hold the bead in place during mounting, the included helper arm assists with difficult tires, and the 6,614 lb bead breaker handles stiff beads.
