Features

Leverless Dual Pressure Wheels

Upper and lower pressure wheels work in tandem through the integrated center post, pressing the bead on and off without a mount lever ever touching the rim face. The synchronized lift system moves both heads together, which speeds the cycle as well as protecting the wheel.

Hydraulic Control Instead of Shop-Air Cylinders

Hydraulics hold consistent pressure through the whole stroke, without the surging pneumatic cylinders produce on run flat and stiff low profile sidewalls. The 2 HP pump runs at 8-10 bar working pressure, operates quieter, and demands less shop air capacity.

Servo Motor Drive with Stepless Speed

The 110-flange servo motor delivers 6.0 Nm of torque with 3000 RPM capability and stepless speed control, so rotation speed matches tire stiffness and bead condition. Better low-speed torque for stubborn beads, quieter than standard induction motors.

Automatic Bead Blast Inflation

The dual-button blast system seats beads quickly with built-in protection against accidental activation. Set the target pressure and the automatic inflation completes the fill without someone standing on the gauge.

3D Radar Data Entry on the Balancer

The FWB-8833's sensor arm swings into position and millimeter wave radar measures rim diameter, width, and offset automatically. No caliper positioning, no keyed-in data, no entry errors turning into comeback vibrations.

7 Second Measurement with Laser Placement

The approx. 200 RPM shaft completes a measurement spin in 7 seconds. The wheel auto-rotates to the balance point and locks while a laser projects the exact weight location on the rim.

Controls and Cooling Built for the Bay

A mechanical keyboard replaces the touchscreen, with no lag or missed inputs from gloved hands, and it survives shop conditions better than glass. Dual-channel cooling keeps the motherboard 35% cooler than industry standard designs by Fortisky's rating, avoiding thermal freezes in hot summer bays.

Installation Requirements

Electrical

The FTC-T8 tire changer needs 220V, 60Hz single phase on a dedicated circuit; there is no 110V option for the changer. The FWB-8833 balancer is dual voltage and runs on 110V or 220V, 50/60Hz, so both machines can share 220V service or the balancer can use a standard outlet.

Air Supply

The tire changer requires 8-10 bar (116-145 PSI) of clean, dry compressed air with a moisture separator, connected through a standard shop air fitting.

Floor and Space

Level concrete floor, indoor installation. The tire changer's footprint is approximately 63 x 49 in plus operator access; the balancer takes approximately 42 x 30 in plus operator access.

Shipping & Delivery

Freight shipping within the lower 48 states; your delivery charge is shown at checkout, and terminal delivery to your carrier's local terminal is available as a checkout option.

You are responsible for unloading; a forklift or similar equipment is required, and a loading dock or liftgate may be required depending on the product. Check the delivery options on the product page before ordering.

Inspect your order before signing. Note concealed and visible damage or shortages on the Bill of Lading or delivery receipt at delivery.

Warranty

Fortisky lifts carry a 3 year structural warranty covering arms, columns, carriages, legs, overhead beams, tracks, cross rails, top rail beams, swivel pins, and uprights, and a 2 year limited warranty overall for the original purchaser. After the first 30 days, cylinder issues are resolved with a seal kit and installation instructions.

Wheel service equipment carries a 1 year warranty on all operating components.

Wear and maintenance items such as cables, chains, slider blocks, rubber pads, and pulleys are excluded, along with on-site labor and damage from improper installation, operation, or maintenance. Missing lift parts must be reported within 72 hours. Freight damage is not a warranty issue; document it at delivery.

Frequently Asked Questions

What rim sizes does the T8-8833 combo handle?
The FTC-T8 tire changer handles 10-30 in rims with wheel diameters up to 49 in and widths of 3-16 in. The FWB-8833 balancer handles rims up to 30 in with wheel diameters to 39 in and assemblies up to 165 lb.
Do both machines run on the same power?
The tire changer requires 220V, 60Hz single phase on a dedicated circuit; there is no 110V option. The balancer is dual voltage, so it can share your 220V service or run from a standard 110V outlet.
What makes the FTC-T8 a leverless tire changer?
Dual pressure wheels on the integrated center post press the bead on and off without a mount lever, so nothing metal touches the rim face. No lever marks on alloy, chrome, or painted wheels.
How does the 3D automatic data entry work?
The sensor arm swings into position and millimeter wave radar measures rim diameter, width, and offset automatically. No caliper measurements and no keyboard entry.
How accurate is the wheel balancer?
The FWB-8833 completes its measurement spin in 7 seconds at approx. 200 RPM, with laser-guided weight placement marking the exact position on the rim. Fortisky does not publish a numeric accuracy figure for this model.
Is this combo suitable for SUVs and light trucks?
Yes. The changer takes wheels up to 49 in in diameter and 16 in wide, and the balancer supports assemblies up to 165 lb, which covers most SUVs, crossovers, and pickups.
