Features

Vertical Design, Joystick Control

The vertical layout holds heavy truck tires at working height instead of flat on the floor, and every function runs through a single joystick: chuck rotation, arm movement, bead pressing, tire lifting. You operate from any position around the machine with the best view of the bead.

Bi-Directional Mount/Demount Head

The hook tool works in both directions, and the adjustable bead pressing roller locks to rim size on a scale. Once set, it stays put between mount and demount cycles, so there is no repositioning tax on every tire.

Sealed Gearbox

The fully sealed gearbox keeps tire dust and grit out of the gears, which is exactly what kills open gearboxes in tire shops. Less wear, less maintenance, longer service life.

Dual-Motor Hydraulic System

Separate 1.5 kW pump and gearbox motors deliver 4.0 HP total through enlarged oil lines: higher flow, faster motor speed, quicker cycle times. A hydraulic gauge gives real-time pressure monitoring.

Aluminum Wheel Protection

The self-centering chuck carries specialized clamps and jaw protectors for aluminum and alloy wheels, so light-alloy rims clamp without scratches or gouges. Optional light-alloy clamps (Art.137/90) are available for dedicated alloy work.

Layered Hydraulic Safety

A check valve on the spindle line prevents wheel drops, a second check valve on the chuck arm stops uncontrolled descent, a relief valve caps system pressure at 130 bar, and a motor overload cut-off prevents burnout. With tires up to 3,307 lb on the machine, each of those matters.

Installation Requirements

Concrete and Space

The slab must be at least 8 in (20 cm) thick, B25 quality per DIN 1045, flat and level. For wheels over 1,100 lb, anchor bolts are required: drill 130 mm deep with a 16 mm bit, with bolts extending 125 mm into the slab. Working area is 88 x 65 in minimum, and an outdoor installation must be covered.

Electrical

Three-phase power at 220-230V or 380-440V, 50/60Hz, with a 30 mA circuit breaker and fuse protection (25 A at 220V, 16 A at 380V). The machine must be grounded. There is no single-phase option, so shops without 3-phase service need that resolved before ordering.

Environment

Operating range is 32 to 131 F (0 to 55 C) with humidity of 30 to 95 percent, non-condensing.

Shipping & Delivery

Freight shipping within the lower 48 states; your delivery charge is shown at checkout, and terminal delivery to your carrier's local terminal is available as a checkout option.

You are responsible for unloading; a forklift or similar equipment is required, and a loading dock or liftgate may be required depending on the product. Check the delivery options on the product page before ordering.

Inspect your order before signing. Note concealed and visible damage or shortages on the Bill of Lading or delivery receipt at delivery.

Warranty

Fortisky lifts carry a 3 year structural warranty covering arms, columns, carriages, legs, overhead beams, tracks, cross rails, top rail beams, swivel pins, and uprights, and a 2 year limited warranty overall for the original purchaser. After the first 30 days, cylinder issues are resolved with a seal kit and installation instructions.

Wheel service equipment carries a 1 year warranty on all operating components.

Wear and maintenance items such as cables, chains, slider blocks, rubber pads, and pulleys are excluded, along with on-site labor and damage from improper installation, operation, or maintenance. Missing lift parts must be reported within 72 hours. Freight damage is not a warranty issue; document it at delivery.

Frequently Asked Questions

What size tires can the FTC-6700 handle?
14-42 in rims, and tires up to 59 in in diameter, 30 in wide, and 3,307 lb. That spans passenger cars through heavy commercial trucks and buses.
What electrical service do I need?
Three-phase power at 220-230V or 380-440V, 50/60Hz, with a 30 mA circuit breaker, fuse protection (25 A for 220V, 16 A for 380V), and proper grounding. There is no single-phase option.
What kind of floor does it need?
A minimum of 8 in of B25 quality concrete, flat and level. If you service wheels over 1,100 lb, the machine must be anchor-bolted to the slab.
Can I use it on aluminum and alloy wheels?
Yes. It includes specialized clamps with jaw protectors for aluminum and alloy rims, and optional light-alloy clamps (Art.137/90) are available.
Does it handle lock ring wheels?
Yes. A lock ring demount bit is included; it replaces the bead pressing roller for split-rim work.
What maintenance does it require?
Periodic lubrication of swivels, slide runners, and carriage guides, plus regular checks of the hydraulic oil (Esso Nuto H46 or equivalent) and gearbox oil (Esso Spartan EP 320 or equivalent).
