The Fortisky FTC-1670 is a semi-automatic tilt-back tire changer for passenger and light truck work: the tower tilts back pneumatically to clear the wheel, then locks with an automatic push-pull latch when it swings into working position. Clamping runs 14-26 in outside and 16-28 in inside, with tires to 47 in diameter and 15 in width.
A 2.0 HP motor and a 5,510 lb bead breaker at 10 bar cover stiff sidewalls, and the built-in helper arm holds beads in the drop center where low-profile and run-flat tires demand it. The bead blast system seats stubborn beads and requires both buttons to fire, so it cannot go off by accident.
It runs on 110V single-phase or 220V three-phase, so a serious home garage can power it as easily as a shop. Every tool that touches the tire carries a protective cover or pad, which is what lets it work alloy wheels without leaving evidence.
Features
Pneumatic Tilt-Back Tower
The tower tilts back on air to open clearance for mounting and demounting, then an automatic push-pull lock holds it rigid in the working position. Once set for a rim size, the head maintains its clearance without re-adjusting.
Helper Arm with Three-Point Pressing
The integrated helper arm and three-point tire push system hold the bead down in the drop center during mounting, on an independent column so it stays put. This is the difference between managing low-profile and run-flat tires and fighting them.
Bead Blast with Double-Button Safety
The turbo blast seats stubborn beads fast, and firing it takes both buttons pressed together, so accidental activation is off the table. A built-in pressure limiter guards against over-inflation.
5,510 lb Bead Breaker
At 10 bar the bead breaker develops 5,510 lb of force, enough for corroded rims and run-flat sidewalls. The blade carries a protective pad like every other tire-contacting tool on the machine.
Four-Jaw Self-Centering Turntable
Synchronized four-jaw linkage clamps from the outside in and centers the wheel automatically, on a one-piece machined chuck base that resists deformation over years of clamping. A central bead pressing system speeds up secure holds.
Hardened Working Head
The mount/demount head is high-frequency quenched and hard chrome plated, mounted on a detachable swing arm for precise bead positioning.

Flat, level floor in a well-lit area, away from oil, grease, and debris, with bystanders kept clear of the work area. Never install where explosive gases may be present.
