Features

Joystick Control from a Vertical Column

All tire changer functions run from a joystick, keeping the operator positioned away from the wheel during mount and dismount. The vertical column layout provides the clearance that 59 in tires demand.

Bidirectional Mount/Dismount Head

The head works in both directions for faster changes, and the bead pressing roller aligns on a scale for precise positioning. Dual 1.5 kW motors drive the hydraulic pump and gearbox.

Hydraulic Chuck with Safety Check Valve

The chuck holds the wheel even if a hydraulic line breaks, and a pressure relief valve set at 130 bar keeps operation controlled. On wheels that can weigh over a ton, this is the feature that matters most.

Sealed Gearbox for Fleet Duty

The gearbox runs sealed against the grit of a truck shop, extending gear life through daily fleet volume rather than occasional use.

Aluminum Wheel and Passenger Car Provisions

Jaw protectors for aluminum truck wheels and a passenger vehicle tire adapter are both included, so one machine covers the fleet trucks and the service writer's sedan.

Pneumatic Wheel Lift Cart

Roll a heavy wheel onto the platform, raise it to shaft height with the pneumatic valve, align the center hole, and lock it with the quick nut. Nobody manually lifts a 400 lb assembly onto a balancer shaft. The cart runs on 87 to 130 PSI shop air.

Truck-Rated Balancing at ±3g

The FWB-5733 takes 10 to 28 in rims, wheel diameters to 47 in, and assemblies to 440 lb, balancing to ±3g in dynamic, static, and ALU modes. An automatic brake holds the wheel for weight placement, self-calibration keeps it accurate, and the vibration-damped motor keeps the noise down.

Mixed Passenger and Commercial Shops
The included passenger tire adapter and the balancer's 10 to 28 in rim range mean one equipment set serves the whole customer base, from sedans to straight trucks.
Agricultural and Heavy Equipment Dealers
The changer takes wheels to 3,307 lb and the balancer to 440 lb, with the pneumatic lift cart doing the lifting. The vertical column gives large-diameter ag tires the clearance they need.

Installation Requirements

Floor

Level concrete at least 8 in (20 cm) thick, B25 grade or equivalent. Anchor bolts are required when working with wheels over 500 kg. Combined equipment weight is approximately 1,789 lb.

Space

The tire changer needs a minimum 2,240 x 1,640 mm footprint with 80 cm of clearance behind, 50 cm on the left, and 200 cm on the right for tire handling. The balancer takes roughly 1,320 x 950 mm plus operator room.

Electrical

The tire changer requires 220/230V or 380/440V three-phase with a circuit breaker (25A for 220V, 16A for 380V) and proper grounding. The balancer runs on 110V or 220V single-phase on a dedicated 15A circuit with overload protection.

Compressed Air

The wheel lift cart requires 87 to 130 PSI (0.6 to 0.9 MPa) with a 5 micron filter and flow above 0.15 cubic meters per minute. The tire changer itself is hydraulic and needs no air.

Shipping & Delivery

Freight shipping within the lower 48 states; your delivery charge is shown at checkout, and terminal delivery to your carrier's local terminal is available as a checkout option.

You are responsible for unloading; a forklift or similar equipment is required, and a loading dock or liftgate may be required depending on the product. Check the delivery options on the product page before ordering.

Inspect your order before signing. Note concealed and visible damage or shortages on the Bill of Lading or delivery receipt at delivery.

Warranty

Fortisky lifts carry a 3 year structural warranty covering arms, columns, carriages, legs, overhead beams, tracks, cross rails, top rail beams, swivel pins, and uprights, and a 2 year limited warranty overall for the original purchaser. After the first 30 days, cylinder issues are resolved with a seal kit and installation instructions.

Wheel service equipment carries a 1 year warranty on all operating components.

Wear and maintenance items such as cables, chains, slider blocks, rubber pads, and pulleys are excluded, along with on-site labor and damage from improper installation, operation, or maintenance. Missing lift parts must be reported within 72 hours. Freight damage is not a warranty issue; document it at delivery.

Frequently Asked Questions

What size wheels can this combo handle?
The tire changer handles 14 to 42 in rims, tires to 59 in diameter and 30 in width, and wheels to 3,307 lb. The balancer handles 10 to 28 in rims, wheel diameters to 47 in, and weights to 440 lb.
Can I still do passenger car tires?
Yes. The FTC-6700 includes a passenger vehicle tire adapter, and the FWB-5733 balances passenger, light truck, and heavy truck wheels across its 10 to 28 in rim range.
What electrical service do I need?
The tire changer requires 220/230V or 380/440V three-phase with the appropriate breaker. The balancer runs on 110V or 220V single-phase. Both need dedicated circuits and proper grounding.
Do I need an air compressor?
Yes, for the balancer's wheel lift cart: 87 to 130 PSI (0.6 to 0.9 MPa) with a 5 micron filter. The tire changer is hydraulic, not pneumatic.
How does the wheel lift cart work?
Roll the tire onto the lift platform, use the pneumatic valve to raise the wheel to shaft height, align the center hole with the shaft, push it onto the cone, and lock it with the quick nut. It eliminates manual lifting of heavy truck wheels.
What floor do I need?
Level concrete at least 8 in (20 cm) thick, B25 grade or equivalent, with anchor bolts required for wheels over 500 kg. Plan for nearly 1,800 lb of combined equipment weight.
