Features

Pneumatic Tilt-Back Tower

The column tilts back pneumatically and locks with automatic push-pull locking, opening clearance over the wheel for mounting and demounting. No wrestling a tire around a fixed tower.

Helper Arm with Three-Point Push

The integrated helper arm holds the bead down while three press points guide the tire over the rim. Low profile and run flat sidewalls stay in the drop center instead of fighting the working head.

Turbo Bead Blaster

A direct-connect blast pipe delivers a high-volume burst of air to seat stubborn beads, with dual-button activation so it cannot fire by accident. The changer operates on 116-145 PSI shop air.

Four-Jaw Self-Centering Turntable

The linkage structure centers wheels automatically from the outside in, and the one-piece machined chuck base resists deformation under clamping loads. The working head is high-frequency quenched and hard chrome plated for wear resistance, and detaches for maintenance.

3D Millimeter Wave Radar Data Entry

The FWB-8833 measures rim diameter, width, and offset automatically: position the wheel, lower the guard, spin. No caliper, no keyed-in numbers, no entry errors on standard wheels.

IPS Display with Mechanical Keyboard

Balance data shows in real time on an IPS screen, and Fortisky rates the mechanical keyboard 60% faster in response than touchscreens, with no lag or accidental touches from shop gloves.

Cooling, Positioning, and Calibration

Dual-channel cooling (air plus flow diversion) holds the motherboard temperature down during back-to-back jobs. One-button positioning rotates the wheel to the balance point and locks it, a laser marks the weight location, and self-calibration runs without a service call.

Installation Requirements

Electrical

The tire changer runs on 110V single phase or 220V three phase and needs a 30 mA circuit breaker, 25 A fuse, and proper grounding. The balancer takes 110V or 220V single phase, 50/60Hz.

Air Supply

The tire changer requires 116-145 PSI (8-10 bar) compressed air. A high-pressure water and oil filter is included.

Space

Install both machines on a flat, level floor in a well-lit area, kept clear of oil, grease, debris, and bystanders.

Shipping & Delivery

Freight shipping within the lower 48 states; your delivery charge is shown at checkout, and terminal delivery to your carrier's local terminal is available as a checkout option.

You are responsible for unloading; a forklift or similar equipment is required, and a loading dock or liftgate may be required depending on the product. Check the delivery options on the product page before ordering.

Inspect your order before signing. Note concealed and visible damage or shortages on the Bill of Lading or delivery receipt at delivery.

Warranty

Fortisky lifts carry a 3 year structural warranty covering arms, columns, carriages, legs, overhead beams, tracks, cross rails, top rail beams, swivel pins, and uprights, and a 2 year limited warranty overall for the original purchaser. After the first 30 days, cylinder issues are resolved with a seal kit and installation instructions.

Wheel service equipment carries a 1 year warranty on all operating components.

Wear and maintenance items such as cables, chains, slider blocks, rubber pads, and pulleys are excluded, along with on-site labor and damage from improper installation, operation, or maintenance. Missing lift parts must be reported within 72 hours. Freight damage is not a warranty issue; document it at delivery.

Frequently Asked Questions

What size wheels can this combo handle?
The FTC-1670 clamps 14-26 in outer and 16-28 in inner with tires up to 47 in in diameter. The FWB-8833 balances rims up to 30 in and wheels up to 165 lb. Together they cover passenger cars, SUVs, and light trucks.
What electrical service do I need?
The tire changer runs on 110V single phase or 220V three phase, with a 30 mA breaker, 25 A fuse, and proper grounding. The balancer runs on 110V or 220V single phase.
Do I need an air compressor?
Yes, for the tire changer: it requires 116-145 PSI of compressed air. The balancer is electric only.
What is the advantage of 3D radar over 2D measurement?
3D millimeter wave radar captures rim diameter, width, and offset simultaneously with no manual input. Faster setup, fewer entry errors, and higher throughput on busy days.
Can it handle low profile and run flat tires?
Yes. The helper arm and three-point pressing system hold the bead in the drop center during mounting, which is what stiff sidewalls need.
