Pneumatic Tilt-Back Tower

The tower tilts back on air with automatic push-pull locking, clearing the wheel entirely during loading and unloading. Compared with swinging an arm around a fixed column, it is a faster, less fiddly cycle on every wheel.

Helper Arm with Three-Point Pressing

The integrated helper arm holds the bead in the drop center during mounting, and the three-point press distributes force around the tire. That is what makes low-profile and run-flat sidewalls manageable instead of miserable.

Bead Blast with Double-Button Safety

The turbo blast system seats stubborn beads fast, and its double-button design requires a deliberate two-hand action, preventing accidental discharge.

Four-Jaw Self-Centering Turntable

Synchronized four-jaw linkage clamps from the outside in and centers the wheel automatically. The one-piece machined chuck base resists deformation over years of clamping cycles.

Self-Calibrating Balancer, Plus or Minus 1 g

The FWB-70B holds plus or minus 1 g precision and lets you recalibrate it yourself to keep readings honest. Multiple balance modes cover different rim types, spanning 10-24 in rims and wheels up to 143 lb.

Electronic Brake and Guard Auto-Start

Lower the guard and the balancer starts on its own; the electronic brake then locks the wheel at position for weight placement. Fewer button presses per wheel, and no hand-stopping a spinning assembly.

Installation Requirements

Electrical

The tire changer runs on 110V single-phase or 220V three-phase, with a 30 mA circuit breaker, 25 A fuse, and proper grounding required. The balancer takes 110V/60Hz single-phase.

Air Supply

The tire changer needs 116-145 PSI (8-10 bar) compressed air for the bead breaker and blast system; a high-pressure water and oil filter is included. The balancer needs no air.

Space

Install both machines on a flat, level floor in a well-lit area, with clear space around them kept free of oil, grease, debris, and bystanders.

Shipping & Delivery

Freight shipping within the lower 48 states; your delivery charge is shown at checkout, and terminal delivery to your carrier's local terminal is available as a checkout option.

You are responsible for unloading; a forklift or similar equipment is required, and a loading dock or liftgate may be required depending on the product. Check the delivery options on the product page before ordering.

Inspect your order before signing. Note concealed and visible damage or shortages on the Bill of Lading or delivery receipt at delivery.

Warranty

Fortisky lifts carry a 3 year structural warranty covering arms, columns, carriages, legs, overhead beams, tracks, cross rails, top rail beams, swivel pins, and uprights, and a 2 year limited warranty overall for the original purchaser. After the first 30 days, cylinder issues are resolved with a seal kit and installation instructions.

Wheel service equipment carries a 1 year warranty on all operating components.

Wear and maintenance items such as cables, chains, slider blocks, rubber pads, and pulleys are excluded, along with on-site labor and damage from improper installation, operation, or maintenance. Missing lift parts must be reported within 72 hours. Freight damage is not a warranty issue; document it at delivery.

Frequently Asked Questions

What size wheels can this combo handle?
The tire changer clamps 14-26 in rims externally and 16-28 in internally, with tires up to 47 in in diameter. The balancer handles 10-24 in rims and wheels up to 143 lb. Together that covers passenger cars and light trucks.
What electrical service do I need?
Both machines run on 110V single-phase, so a standard shop can power the pair. The tire changer also supports 220V three-phase if you prefer, and it requires proper grounding with circuit protection (30 mA breaker, 25 A fuse).
Do I need an air compressor?
Yes, for the tire changer: it requires a 116-145 PSI compressed air supply for the bead breaker, tilt-back tower, and bead blast. The balancer is electric only.
Can it handle low-profile and run-flat tires?
Yes. The helper arm and three-point pressing system hold the bead in the drop center during mounting, which is exactly what stiff low-profile and run-flat sidewalls need.
Will it damage alloy wheels?
All tire-contacting tools carry protective covers and pads, and the balancer's cone adapters are designed for alloy rims. Rim protection is built into both machines rather than sold as an add-on.
