Installation & Setup

This is a fixed, in-ground installation, so a little planning up front saves you headaches later. The digital tread depth scanner is indoor-only, and the ground under each measuring unit has to be even and solid enough to anchor with dowels and carry the central support load. The manual calls for a minimum floor load capacity of 4,350 PSI (30 N/mm2).

Electrical connection runs through the electrical cabinet and has to be done by a qualified local electrician at 110 V, 15 A. Keep the screen, smart TV and the cabinet, switch and access point within 26.25 ft (8 m) of the scanner, and leave a straight drive-down path of at least 10 ft (3 m) on each side of the unit.
