Challenger RJ7X Rolling Jack - 7,000 lb Air/Hydraulic Rolling Jack for SX14 Scissor Lifts
You've got an SX14 or SX14R scissor alignment lift and you're still pulling wheels with a floor jack and jack stands. That's costing you time on every brake job, tire rotation, and suspension repair. The Challenger RJ7X rolling jack gives you 7,000 lb of air/hydraulic lifting capacity right where you need it, mounted directly on your scissor lift's accessory rails for smooth positioning under each axle.
Foot pedal operation keeps both hands free for positioning, and the mechanical lock secures the jack at full height so you can work underneath with confidence. The extendable lift pad arms adjust from 33 inches to over 50 inches at center, letting you reach factory lift points on everything from compact sedans to full-size trucks. Two 3-inch stack extensions come included for higher-clearance vehicles. A factory-installed FLR (filter, lubricator, regulator) assembly connects to your shop's compressed air supply via a standard 1/4 NPT quick disconnect, keeping the pump components clean and lubricated from day one.
This jack is sold individually. Most shops run two per lift for full free-wheel access at both axles. An internal airline kit (sold separately) is required to route compressed air to the rolling jack positions. If you need help figuring out what your SX14 setup requires, give us a call and we'll walk you through it.

Installation & Setup
The RJ7X mounts directly onto your SX14 or SX14R scissor lift's accessory rails. Place the jack assembly on the lift rack rails, adjust the side members so the jack is centered between the rails, then tighten the four hex bolts (two per side) to lock it in position. Install a 1/4 NPT male quick disconnect coupling into the air inlet of the pre-installed FLR assembly, matched to your shop's fittings.
Your shop air supply must not exceed 150 PSI. An internal airline kit (sold separately) is required to route compressed air from your compressor to the rolling jack positions on the scissor lift. Before putting the jack into service, cycle it through a few raises and lowers to familiarize yourself with the foot pedal and lock release controls.
Applications
Lift individual axles for full free-wheel access to brake rotors, calipers, and pads without removing the vehicle from the alignment rack.
Roll the jack into position under each axle to spin wheels off and on quickly, keeping throughput high on tire and wheel work.
Unload suspension components for strut, shock, tie rod, and control arm replacement while the vehicle stays on the scissor lift.
Free the wheels for turn plate and slip plate adjustments during alignment procedures on your SX14 or SX14R scissor lift.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is the Challenger RJ7X compatible with 4-post lifts?
No. The RJ7X is designed exclusively for Challenger SX14 and SX14R series scissor lifts. The rail geometry on scissor lifts differs from 4-post lifts. If you have a 4P14, 4015, or 4115 series four-post lift, you'll need the RJ7.5 rolling jack instead. Call us at (855) 498-2147 if you're unsure which model fits your lift.
How many rolling jacks do I need for my SX14 scissor lift?
The RJ7X is sold as a single unit. Most shops order two, one for each axle, to get full free-wheel access for brake, tire, and suspension work. Each jack delivers 7,000 lb of lifting capacity with a 3,500 lb max load per arm/pad, so a pair covers both ends of the vehicle.
Do I need an airline kit to operate the RJ7X?
Yes. The RJ7X connects to your shop's compressed air supply (max 150 PSI) via a 1/4 NPT quick disconnect coupling on the pre-installed FLR assembly. An internal airline kit, sold separately, is required to route air lines from your compressor to the rolling jack positions on the scissor lift.
What is the lifting range of the RJ7X rolling jack?
The RJ7X lifts from a lowered height of 2.75 inches to a raised height of 12.625 inches. The center lift pad arms extend from 33 inches retracted to 50.75 inches extended, and the side member arms extend from 33.9375 inches to 41.6875 inches. Four 3-inch stack pads are included for additional height on trucks and SUVs.
How is the RJ7X installed on the scissor lift?
The jack mounts directly on your SX14 or SX14R accessory rails. Center it between the rails, then secure with four hex bolts (two per side). Connect your shop air to the FLR assembly's 1/4 NPT quick disconnect fitting. The entire process requires basic hand tools and access to compressed air at or below 150 PSI.
What safety features does the RJ7X include?
The RJ7X features a mechanical lock that secures the jack at the raised position, so the load is held mechanically rather than relying on hydraulic pressure alone. Foot pedal operation keeps both hands free for positioning. The jack is rated at 7,000 lb capacity at 5,200 PSI hydraulic pressure, with each arm/pad rated at 3,500 lb max.
Does the RJ7X come with stack extensions?
Yes. Four 3-inch stack pads are included with every RJ7X rolling jack. These give you extra height clearance for trucks, SUVs, and other vehicles with higher factory lift points. The pads are stackable and integrate with the jack's built-in storage rack for easy access.
What maintenance does the RJ7X require?
Daily inspections should cover the jack body and components for damage or excessive wear, plus a check of the air/hydraulic system for leaks and the in-line lubricator oil level. Annually, check the hydraulic pump fluid level by lowering the jack completely, removing the breather plug, and confirming oil is at the top of the filler plug hole.
