Challenger EW12CK-QC Completion Kit for EW12 Inground Lift
Your EW12 superstructure and pre-kit are in the ground. This is what finishes it. The Challenger EW12CK-QC completion kit delivers the QuickCycle hydraulic package and standard column-mounted controls that bring your installed EW12 framework to full operational status. One kit, one order, and your 12,000 lb inground lift is ready to run.
The EW12 system this kit completes is built for the vehicles that don't fit on standard inground lifts. 88 inches of drive-through clearance handles full-size trucks, wide-bodied SUVs, and EV platforms that need battery lowering access. True 3-stage front and rear arms with double-telescoping screw pads give you precise lift point positioning across the full range of vehicle frames rolling through your bay. QuickCycle technology cuts your lift and lower times compared to standard hydraulic operation, keeping vehicles moving when throughput matters.
Every component in this kit is factory-matched to the EW12 platform. Hydraulic fittings, control wiring, and connections are all spec'd for this system, so you're not adapting generic parts or troubleshooting compatibility issues during install. If you're closing out an EW12 build or outfitting a new bay, this is the kit that gets you from concrete work to lifting cars. Not sure what stage your installation is at? Call us at (855) 498-2147 and we'll help you confirm exactly what's left.

What's Included

Installation and Setup
Electrical Requirements
The completed EW12 system runs on 208-230V, 60 Hz, single-phase power with a dedicated circuit for the 2 HP motor. All wiring needs to be handled by a licensed electrician who can verify the supply meets National Electrical Code standards before the lift goes into service.
Compressed Air Supply
You'll need 90 to 120 psi of shop air for the automatic safety locks. These locks engage at designated lift heights and won't function without consistent air pressure in that range. Make sure your compressor can sustain that output before commissioning the lift.
Column-Mounted Controls
This kit uses standard column-mounted controls, placing the operator panel directly on the lift infrastructure. It's a straightforward setup that keeps everything integrated at the lift point. If your shop layout or workflow calls for a remote control station instead, the BMC (bench-mounted controls) version of this kit is also available.
Professional Installation Required
All hydraulic, electrical, and air connections must be made by qualified technicians following Challenger's installation manual. This kit completes an existing EW12 installation, so your superstructure and pre-kit should already be in place and your concrete work finished before you start connecting components.
Applications
Your superstructure and pre-kit are set. This kit adds the QuickCycle power unit and column-mounted controls to finish the build and get your bay lifting vehicles.
The EW12's 88-inch drive-through clearance and arm geometry give you unobstructed battery lowering access on EV platforms without modifications or external support jacks.
Full-size trucks, heavy SUVs, and specialty vehicles that crowd standard-width inground lifts fit through the EW12's extra-wide opening without repositioning between services.
QuickCycle hydraulics reduce lift and lower times compared to standard operation. When you're running vehicles back to back, those seconds per cycle compound across every job.

Shipping
Freight Delivery: Challenger Lifts ship via flatbed freight truck. You'll need a forklift, Bobcat, or similar equipment for unloading. Lift gate service isn't available due to component weight. Deliveries arrive on a 48-foot semi, so make sure your site has adequate truck access.
Scheduling: You're responsible for coordinating a delivery appointment with the freight carrier. If unloading equipment isn't available at your location, the shipment can be routed to a local freight terminal for pickup.
Lead Times: Shipments are subject to factory lead times and warehouse availability. Our team coordinates the freight shipment and helps manage scheduling details. Need a delivery window, residential delivery, or liftgate service? Contact us before ordering so we can confirm the best delivery setup and any accessorial charges.
Warranty
Challenger Lifts Limited Warranty: Challenger covers the repair or replacement of defective parts for the original owner, including reasonable labor and transportation costs, provided the lift was installed, used, and maintained according to official specifications.
Eligibility: Valid for the original purchaser only. Not transferable. Applies to lifts installed in the United States and Canada.
Exclusions: Coverage does not extend to consumable items, normal wear and tear, damage from misuse or improper installation, or repairs performed by unauthorized service providers. Use of unapproved parts or accessories voids coverage.
Warranty registration may be required after purchase. Refer to included documentation for details.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is the Challenger EW12CK-QC completion kit?
It's the above-ground component package that finishes an EW12 inground lift installation. This kit includes the QuickCycle hydraulic system and standard column-mounted controls, all factory-matched to the EW12 platform. Your superstructure and pre-kit need to be installed before this kit goes in. The completed system delivers 12,000 lb of lifting capacity with 88 inches of drive-through clearance.
What's the difference between the EW12CK-QC and the EW12CK-BMC-QC?
Both kits include QuickCycle hydraulics for faster lift and lower cycles. The difference is the control configuration. This QC kit uses standard column-mounted controls integrated directly into the lift structure. The BMC-QC version places the controls at a separate workstation bench. Choose based on your bay layout and where you want your operator panel positioned.
What does QuickCycle do on the EW12?
QuickCycle speeds up the hydraulic lift and lower cycle times compared to the standard configuration. The base EW12 has a 63-second rise time. QuickCycle reduces that, helping you move vehicles through the bay faster. For high-volume shops running back-to-back services, the time savings add up across every job throughout the day.
Do I need the superstructure and pre-kit before ordering this kit?
Yes. The completion kit is the final stage of an EW12 installation. Your inground superstructure and pre-kit must be installed and concrete work completed before this kit can be connected. If you're unsure what stage your build is at, call (855) 498-2147 and we'll help you figure out exactly what you still need.
What electrical service does the completed EW12 require?
The system runs on 208-230V, 60 Hz, single-phase power with a dedicated circuit for the 2 HP motor. A licensed electrician needs to handle the wiring and verify the supply meets code before the lift goes into service. You'll also need 90 to 120 psi compressed air for the automatic safety locks.
Is the EW12 ALI/ETL certified?
Yes. The completed EW12 holds both ALI and ETL certification, confirming third-party verification of the lift's 12,000 lb capacity, structural integrity, and mechanical safety features. These certifications are recognized by insurance carriers, facility managers, and franchise dealership compliance programs.
Can the EW12 service electric vehicles?
That's one of its primary design advantages. The 88-inch drive-through clearance and 3-stage arm geometry allow battery pack access and lowering without obstruction. Double-telescoping screw pads with a 4" to 6.125" height range provide precise lift point positioning on EV platforms for high-voltage battery and drivetrain service.
How is this kit shipped?
It ships via flatbed freight truck. You'll need a forklift or similar equipment for unloading since lift gate service isn't available. Deliveries arrive on a 48-foot semi, so confirm your site has adequate truck access. If you don't have unloading equipment on-site, the shipment can route to a local freight terminal for pickup.
What warranty covers this completion kit?
Challenger's limited warranty covers repair or replacement of defective parts for the original owner, including reasonable labor and transportation costs. The lift must be installed, used, and maintained per Challenger's specifications. Coverage excludes consumable items, normal wear, and damage from misuse or unauthorized repairs. Registration may be required after purchase.
What if I'm not sure which EW12 components I still need?
Call (855) 498-2147 and walk through your current installation stage with our equipment specialists. The EW12 build involves multiple phases including the superstructure, pre-kit, and this completion kit. We'll confirm which components are outstanding and whether you need the QC or BMC-QC configuration for your setup.
