Who It's For

Dealership Quick Lanes & Tire Bays

Service departments with low ceilings, tight door rails, or overhead obstructions. Fast arm spotting, clear headroom for vans, and a floorplate that doesn't slow carts.

Independent Shops with Mixed Fleets

Low sports cars in the morning, service vans at lunch, lifted trucks in the afternoon. AP-Series arms with dropped pad receivers handle the low vehicles. Open-top clears the tall ones.

Fleet Garages with Commercial Vehicles

High-roof vans, ladder racks, light upfits. Open-top prevents overhead clashes and keeps safety equipment intact.

Converting Awkward Space

Short columns and open-top design let you use square footage without moving HVAC or ducting. Get a real two-post bay where only a jack and stands would fit.

Key Features

Open-Top Low-Ceiling Design

The 9APF stands 123" tall, about 15-19" shorter than overhead beam models. All hydraulics and cables route through the floorplate, maintaining full 9,000 lb capacity. High-roof vans, ladder racks, and lifted trucks clear without fighting for inches.

Extra-Low 1.4" Floorplate

The floorplate measures just 1.4" tall × 9.5" wide with tapered edges. Transmission jacks, oil caddies, and creepers roll across cleanly. Hydraulic and equalizer lines are fully contained with no exposed conduit to dent.

AP-Series Triple-Telescoping Arms

Three-stage telescoping provides 22.25-47.5" front reach and 29.5-57" rear reach. Bi-Metric geometry allows symmetric or asymmetric positioning. Dropped pad receivers get under rocker panels without ramps or blocks.

ASARS Automatic Arm Restraint

ASARS provides 360° automatic engagement with over 2,000 lb of holding force. No manual pin insertion required. The system includes 14 safety lock positions at 3.6" intervals and a quick-release lever for repositioning.

Dual-Width Configuration

Install at either 136" or 146" overall width. The narrow configuration provides 91" drive-through with 108.25" between posts. The wide setup offers 101" drive-through with 118.25" between posts. Choose during installation based on your bay dimensions.

Built for High-Cycle Use

Large 25.25" base plates distribute loads across the slab. Single-piece columns resist twist under side loads. Self-lubricating UHMW carriage sliders provide smooth, predictable travel, and service points are accessible for maintenance.

About the Brand

BendPak

BendPak describes their development process as involving extensive testing, pushing equipment beyond rated limits to understand failure modes and safety margins. Forty years of building lifts means forty years of test data, field feedback, and refinement. They learn how components wear over thousands of cycles, where fatigue concentrates, which parts hold up. This knowledge feeds into design improvements that make each generation better. When a manufacturer claims to exceed safety standards, test culture is what backs that claim up.
