The Autostacker A6S-OPT1 is BendPak's zero-post platform parking lift built for standard 9-foot residential ceilings. Turn a single-bay garage into two-vehicle parking without corner posts eating up space or blocking your doors. Zero-Post Scissor Design
Unlike four-post lifts that stick columns in every corner, the A6S keeps your floor space open. No posts blocking garage walls, doors, or storage. You get 83.13" drive-through width and can actually open your car doors all the way. Park underneath, grab something from the shelf, get in and out without playing Tetris.
Built for 9-Foot Ceilings
This is the big one. Most residential garages have 9-foot ceilings that rule out traditional lifts. The A6S hits 85" max platform height with five adjustable lock positions (52.5" to 81.25" under-clearance). Park your daily driver below, store another vehicle up top. No ceiling mods, no garage expansion, no contractor bills.
Heavy-Duty Steel Construction
6,000 lbs capacity with structural integrity built for daily use. The standard powder-coated steel platform handles normal residential garages. If you're in a coastal area or high-humidity environment, the galvanized A6S-OPT1-G version resists corrosion from road salt and moisture. Same specs, better protection where you need it.
Door-Sentry Protection System
Full-length rubber guards run along the scissor-lift arms, creating a buffer zone between your car doors and the steel frame. Even when fully extended, you're not going to ding your paint getting in and out. Combined with the low-profile 2" approach ramps and level hydraulic travel, your vehicles stay protected through thousands of lift cycles.
Fast and Quiet Operation
The hydraulic scissor system raises 6,000 lbs to full height in about 45 seconds at 70 dB. That's quieter than normal conversation and faster than shuffling cars in your driveway. The 3 HP motor delivers smooth, controlled movement without waking up the house.

Will It Fit Your Garage?
Quick formula: Upper vehicle height + platform (~6") + lower vehicle height + safety margin (6") = minimum ceiling needed.
Example that works: 49" Miata on top + 6" platform + 57" Accord below + 6" margin = 118" total. That's 9.83 feet, so it fits in a 10-foot ceiling using Lock Position 3 or 4.
Example that doesn't: 76" Jeep with roof rack + 6" platform + 77" F-150 + 6" margin = 165" total. That's 13.75 feet. You'd need a 14-foot ceiling.

Floor: Level concrete (max 1/8" variance per 10 ft), minimum 4" thick, 3,000 PSI. No cracks or deterioration.
Space: 12' x 9' minimum clear floor area. Ceiling 9 ft minimum (10+ ft recommended for SUVs). Indoor use only.
Electrical
Power: 208-240V / 50-60Hz / Single-Phase. Dedicated outlet within 10 ft of lift. Have a licensed electrician handle the hookup. No compressed air needed.
