AFF 8888 Cantilever Waste Oil Drain and Evacuator

Most oil drains make you choose: drain from below or extract from above. The AFF 8888 from American Forge & Foundry does both. The cantilever design swings a 17-gallon collection basin out and under the vehicle for conventional drain jobs, then transfers the oil directly into the 23.75-gallon storage tank using pressurized shop air. When you'd rather skip the drain plug entirely, six suction probes plus BMW and VW adapters let you evacuate oil straight from the dipstick tube into the tank.

The cantilever arm reaches 74" and adjusts from a minimum height of 35.25" to a maximum of 60.25", so you're covered on everything from a low-profile sports car on a drive-on rack to a truck on a full-height two-post. The basin sits at 10.25" and is shaped to reduce spillage and keep contaminants out of your collected oil. When the basin fills, you don't have to wrestle it off the unit or pour it by hand — pressurized air pushes the oil from the basin into the main tank through the built-in transfer system.

Both a 6' discharge hose and a 6' suction hose are included. The discharge hose handles tank evacuation into your bulk storage container, and the suction hose connects to the probe kit for top-side extraction work. At 123 lbs ship weight, the 8888 is a serious piece of equipment built to hold up in a production shop. This unit replaces the discontinued AFF 8880 cantilever waste oil drain.

We ship the AFF 8888 free to the lower 48 states. If you've got questions about this unit or need to compare it against the 8890 or 8895, give us a call. We'll help you figure out which setup fits your bays.

Who This Cantilever Oil Drain Is For

If you're running a busy lube shop or dealership service department, the cantilever design lets you swing the basin into position without rolling the entire unit under the vehicle. The 17-gallon basin handles multiple drain jobs before you need to transfer, and the pressurized system moves oil into the main tank without manual pouring. For high-volume shops where speed and floor space matter, that workflow difference adds up across a full day of oil changes.

Shops that service European vehicles will get the most out of the probe kit. BMW and VW adapters are included, so you can extract oil through the dipstick tube on platforms designed for top-side service without hunting for aftermarket fittings. The dual-function design means one unit covers both conventional underbody drains and top-side evacuations, so you're not buying separate equipment for each job type.

Independent repair shops and fleet maintenance facilities that deal with a mix of vehicle heights and lift types will appreciate the height range. At 35.25" minimum, the basin fits under vehicles on low-rise lifts and drive-on racks. At 60.25" maximum with a 74" reach, it extends into trucks and SUVs on full-height two-posts. If you've been using a standard upright oil drain and a separate extraction setup, the 8888 consolidates both into one unit.
