Installation & Setup
The Model 837 arrives at 672 lbs., so plan your receiving setup ahead of time - you'll want a loading dock, pallet jack, or forklift available when it lands. Position it on a solid, level concrete floor capable of handling the weight and the press forces you'll be applying.
The air/hydraulic pump requires a shop air connection to operate in air-assist mode. Standard shop air supply lines are compatible. The two-speed hand pump works independently of shop air, so you can operate the press manually if needed. No electrical hookup is required.
The press bed is adjusted via the onboard winch across seven height positions. Before first use, confirm all mounting hardware is fully secured and verify the pressure gauge reads correctly at rest.

American Forge & Foundry warrants this equipment to the final purchaser to be free from operating defects in material and workmanship for a period of one year from the date of purchase. If the unit is found to be defective during the warranty period, AFF will, at its option, repair or replace it at no charge - provided the equipment is shipped prepaid with proof of purchase to American Forge & Foundry or an authorized Field Service Depot.
This warranty does not cover damage caused by accident, overload, abuse, or use of attachments not recommended by American Forge & Foundry. No other warranties, express or implied, apply. The sole remedy under this warranty is repair or replacement of the defective product. AFF is not liable for incidental, consequential, or indirect damages including loss of profits or production time.
