Exclusions from Warranty

  • Cosmetic defects that do not affect product functionality.
  • Failures caused by improper use, overloading, or installation errors.
  • Damage due to disasters like fire, flood, wind, or lightning.
  • Unauthorized modifications or attachments are not covered under the warranty.

Shipping Information

Free Shipping Policy

BendPak offers free shipping to the contiguous 48 United States. This excludes Alaska and Hawaii, and there are occasional charges for rural and other special zones. Lift gate service and other special handling may incur additional charges. Accessories and service parts not covered by warranty are subject to a per-piece freight charge based on weight and destination.

Freight Service

  • LTL (Less Than Truckload) Service: This is the most common method used for shipping BendPak and Ranger heavy items that are too large for standard parcel size. LTL shipments are easily trackable during transit. Lift gate deliveries, residential deliveries, and dock pickups are available but may involve additional fees. Transit times typically range from 1-2 weeks.
  • Flatbed Service: Flatbed trucks are used for oversize or delicate items that cannot be easily handled by standard LTL freight. The freight is loaded at BendPak's facility in Santa Paula, CA, and remains on the same truck until delivery, minimizing the risk of damage. While flatbed shipments reduce handling risks, they may involve longer delivery times (2-3 weeks).

Shipping and Distribution Centers

BendPak operates from distribution centers located in Santa Paula, CA, and Mobile, AL, to manage transportation costs, reduce delivery times, and mitigate freight damage. Orders are typically shipped from the distribution center closest to the destination, but under certain conditions, orders may be fulfilled from an alternate location to expedite delivery without added charges.

Special Charges

  • RATZ (Rural Area Transportation Zone) Surcharge: Products shipped to rural areas may incur a RATZ surcharge.
  • Accessorial Charges: These apply for services beyond standard pickup, transport, and delivery—such as lift gate service, residential delivery, re-delivery, and pre-delivery phone notifications.

Customer Responsibility

It is the customer’s responsibility to unload freight at their location. BendPak is not responsible for additional charges related to unloading or equipment needed for unloading. Options for unloading include lift gate service, freight terminals for pickup, or certified contractors for delivery and installation.

Returns

Returns and Exchange Policy

BendPak allows returns of defective or incorrect merchandise, which must first receive authorization via a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number. Contact customer service to obtain shipping instructions and the RMA number. Without an RMA, no credit will be issued. Items being returned must be in their original packaging, include all manuals and accessories, and be unused. For returns not due to warranty issues, a 20% restocking fee and round-trip shipping costs will be deducted from the refund. If products are opened or returned with missing packaging or components, BendPak reserves the right to charge a restocking fee.

Refunds

Once returned merchandise is received and inspected, BendPak will process a refund, which may take up to 15 days. Shipping charges are not refundable. Refunds will be issued to the original payment method after passing inspection, and any deductions for restocking fees or shipping will be applied as applicable.

Order Cancellation

Order cancellations must be approved by BendPak and may be subject to a restocking fee or additional charges, especially if the order has already entered production or shipment stages. Modifications to orders can be made within 30 minutes of placement without fees. However, once an order moves to production, there is a $45 fee for changes, and if it reaches the shipment stage, a $75 fee applies. Cancellations after shipping are treated as returns, and all associated fees will apply.
